I have watched so many episodes of the beatdown since September. My partner was diagnosed with a type of sarcoma and it has been an emotional journey. Any time I was feeling down and depressed because he spent 3 months in and out of the hospital, I came to this show because I knew Willam would make me laugh. So I came to say Thank you for the laughter even when I was too sad to do anything but lay in bed all day. I dont know if you will see this, but I sincerely thank you for everything. Love you, mean it.

And I KNOW drag queens in the media - I was personally friends with Tammy Faye Messner (and her Husband Roe) from the time I was in college. And, I also knew Jan Crouch (and her husband Paul) personally too, because I worked at TBN for 15 years. (The TBN stations in: Richmond, IN; Atlanta; Tustin & Costa Mesa; Orlando; and last, Miami.) So , I can honestly say that I know for fact that Tammy Faye AND Jan Crouch both (and their husbands) loved the gays, they loved all of us sincerely and unconditionally. They were also absolutely hilarious people with great senses of humor, fun, sincere, and great to go shopping with! More importantly, also knew a lot of struggle and pain- physically, mentally, emotionally, because they too were judged by a hateful world of Insane people including other “Christians.” *Despite what other people on TBN and PTL, other shows, ministries, etc., might have said or done in rude judgment against the gays, those three top people (Jan Crouch, Paul Crouch, and Tammy Faye) NEVER spoke out against, put down, prayed against, or in any way demeaned gay people. They should not be included when we think of the churches, preachers, or other judgmental and hateful “Christians”who DO discriminate, judge and generally show hatred towards gays, trans, and others who are not exactly like them and share THEIR beliefs.* Love, prayers and blessings to all!
