If I’m home alone and the urges come I start doing push ups and sit ups immediately and most times it disapears. Sometimes I also go do a chore like cleaning the bathroom sink or something. The key is to just do something before giving in to the voice in your head telling you to watch P.

I think that will not work 100% all of the times. I often relapse because i want to do it i want to relapse because i didnt do things good enough and i to reset the best i can give you it that dont see nofap at an absolute goal see it as a tool that will make it to your goal and you will do anything for your goal include nofap. @@VerangaF430 Hey man sorry for such a late reply. Like @Sameer Mishra has mentioned the key is to keep urself busy. That way ur not building up the Energy and not using it Instead u are Using it by staying busy in some productive work.If u simply sit and Expect Nofap to work then that ain’t wise is it-U will either Ultimately Relapse,Bring out the Inner Hulk of Anger,Or you’ll probably have a wet dream. So keep yourself engaged. Some other tips I would like to give u is to: Engage yourself in work,Workout,Meditate,Pray,Journal,Interact with peers, friends and family,Vibe to Music,Keep yourself in touch with the REAL NATURAL world god has given us and ABOVE all self introspection of your Purpose for walking on this path. Thanks for the tips. Luke. I just relapsed and the longest streak i have ever achieved is 15 days. I am an introverted person and life during the pandemic is really hard. I will try to do outdoor activities like running or others. I just happened to see you while browsing the nofap videos after my relapse. Life is hard but I will keep pushing to and try not to give in to the urge by thinking the negative side effects of relapse and positive effect I will enjoy if I achieve my goals.

The urges after a relapse are the hardest. It's not easy to not binge after a relapse. Relapsing sucks to be honest. On one hand you have these crazy strong urges that will only go away once you touch yourself but on the other hand I know that once I relapse Iam gonna be back on that same day 0 which is so destructive. It's so unfair that after making all that progress just one slip up takes that all away and god it's so tiring. Nofap has spoiled me to the point that I need to be on a certain streak(7 to 14 days)to enjoy a movie or anime or even food for that matter. From day 0 to day 4 you feel so low and shitty and you don't feel like doimg anything at all.

I just broke a 33 day streak, my longest ever in 3 years of trying NoFap. However, i dont feel that bad because Im proud of myself for going that far and honestly guys I think the biggest advice after a relapse is to not binge. I made it to day 117 and I just relapsed about an hour ago. I regretted it so much and felt so bad but I know I’ll get back in the zone and kill this habit for good. I’m never going to make that mistake again. Especially after making it so far, so much further than I ever expected. I’m ready to beat this and give up PMO for the rest of my life now. @@GoldJacketLuke no doubt brother! I haven’t done anything since the day I made this comment so I’m feeling pretty strong still. It just felt like I had to prove to myself how much it isn’t worth it to relapse because when I did relapse I realized that it wasn’t worth it at all whatsoever. @@OUrNit03 if I'm being honest it's been off and on sadly. I'm only on day 5 right now but I blame it on getting into a relationship that I regret. Don't even bother getting into a relationship tbh. Right after a relapse get down and do pushups and squats to absolute failure than hop in a very cold shower for a good 5-10 min than take in very long deep breaths! I swear it’ll feel like you never even relapsed! Also do a 36-48 hour fast the next day, this will build back your discipline and also the testosterone which you’ve had lost from releasing. 💪

I relapsed 8 years ago after 2 1/2 years of sobriety. I knew I wasn't going to bounce back right away, that what I told myself when I was sober because I knew myself back then. But I didn't know it was going to be this long. I had a kid and the same girl I use to get high with is the same person I'm with now. My life would've been so different if I stayed sober. I didn't know I was going to stay out this long. I would take it back in a heartbeat. 2 ODs, in and out of prison. Then the day to day hell, that we addicts go through just mentally and emotionally.

Good advice, but I would also recommend just being really humourous about the whole thing and seeing the whole of nofap as a game. You can even give your inner "devil" a name, and then talk to "him", while he is tempting you. This will take the pressure away from you and you will quickly notice improvement in how you view your rewire journey.

I think, at the first days of nofap, I start feeling more lonely, more excluded from the world and idk I think I become less attractive lol. Idk but I want to get out of this addiction

Yes it can get "worse" before it gets better. Similar to a drug addict going through withdrawals. Transformation takes time. It is soo worth it! Keep going!

I negotiate with myself so much till the last moment that it feels like a fucking chore to do it. I say "I'll do it until 6 pm and without watching p***" (let's say it's 5:51) then if I stop and I don't finish, I can go on about my day but when I do finish I punish myself with something and think about that feeling I get after relapsing

Often times when I get an urge, it’s when I’m trying to force myself to do something I don’t want to do. In your opinion, do you think in that situation I should postpone doing what I don’t want to do until the relapse goes away, or should I just learn to not give in to the urge and let it grow?

we have the same concern, the difference is that i'm female. I don't know how this whole thing works for guys, but I hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts on this hehe. Anywayyy for me, i postpone doing what I don't want to do, but i make sure that i'm doing something else instead, something more productive but enjoyable at the same time that can help distract me, such as going for a walk or a run. I stay away from my bedroom and my phone. I think channeling your energy into something else can help the relapse go away, and that's how you'll eventually learn not to give in.

The sentence "beeing with an woman who's on your Level" helped a lot, because before i thought about some Women would sometimes search longer for an man to live with, but it's clear, if she wants a man having an Luxus ship so it wasn't that effective Like your sentence man! It Can be Soo easy!

The main reason why I’m doing no fap is due to ED. I’ve heard mixed opinions saying yes it works but then there’s people that think it’s not connected to ED. What’s your opinion??

@@GoldJacketLuke I appreciate it. Thing is it’s the first time I’ve done anything with a a girl and was nerves at the start tbh and couldn’t even get an erection when it came down to it. Then I could get one but not enough for penetration. Now I can penetrate but it only lasts a few seconds and it’s gone again. So at lest there’s been a steady improvement I suppose and this it why I think it’s performance anxiety more than anything due to it being a new experience to me. I’ll go to the doctors to rule out any physical problem. Then I’ll see how it goes. If it continues then I could take viagra and then hopefully after that I won’t need any medication as I’ve experienced it

Are there any p*** blockers that block search terms? I only accessed it through KZbin because going on other sights and watching more dirty content crossed a moral boundary for me. In the grand scheme of things, what I was watching wasn't really that extreme but nevertheless, it is Problem and I want to defeat it.

I think you should try to feel what works for you and what doesn't. Tried to be gentle, but that didn't work for me to get over porn. I needed to get really fucking angry at myself and get a really strong distaste to get over the hump. Now on day 850. Try different methods and feel your way around it, around your personality type etc.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Transmuting and channeling anger into change can for sure be effective. It's true that for lots of people they may need to hit a painful breaking point to realize they need to take more serious action to overcome this and heal. However, the passions of anger typically die out within some days or weeks, so in my opinion that anger would need to be judiciously channeled into some serious change or system (for example getting a therapist or accountability partner, setting much stricter technology boundaries, etc.) for long-term success and healing. Was that your case? Also especially after a relapse, anger can turn into apathy quite quickly (sometimes minutes or hours) which often leads to subsequent relapses. That is why immediately after a relapse I believe doing one's best to be self-compassionate in the vast majority of cases is the best thing to do. Most people when angry don't channel the anger in a constructive way, and it just destroys them even more. However yes, different things work for different people. And everyone is at a different point in their journey. Did your anger eventually dissolve into self-compassion? Would be curious to hear more of your journey if you'd care to share. Congrats on 850 days!! Amazing!

@@GoldJacketLuke I didn't get an accountability partner, therapist or set technology restraints, although I am sure those are all helpful and perfectly right for some in certain cases. We also need different things at different parts of our journeys. What I did was, when I was close to getting drawn into relapsing, I brought my mind to the same anger I had felt and brought into attention how this addiction had fucked up things in life previously and the fact that I each single time I had previously acted out this addiction had felt like shit. Then in the moment I felt strongly that it wouldn't and couldn't be worth it. There would be no point in doing the same thing and expecting another outcome. There were other aspects too that had played in and led to that point. I hd started daily meditation some year/s prior and also had a spiritual awakening some time before. These factors just made it unbearable to act as I had. Also I had decided to move to a new city and start studying, and there was a girl there who I was interested in, who was also interested in me. So I channeled the energies to move, change my life situation and study. And yes, I also realized that the 'unhealable' OCD I had been suffering from for ages was possibly derived from porn addiction, so I felt that in order to heal that, I needed to quit porn. And I did get over the OCD. That took some work too, but I used the channeled energy from retention to consciously reprogram the mind and brain. I didn't get involved with the girl in school for various reasons, but it she worked as a nice goal to keep me on track in the start. Then after a few months, NoFap became effortless and I could stop focusing in on the anger when the urges ceased. Here and now, the next step is probably to get a girlfriend, as I feel there is a lot of healing work there. That is a new journey in this life and I honestly carry some reluctance to that, old patterns of fear and whatnot, but that is where healing lies. I don't want to live in fear, I want to live as the universe, as god wishes, and it feels like that for me, at this point, means to embrace and integrate what it means to have taken birth as biological life form on planet Earth. There are many ways of living, and we are here now, so now is the time to experiment and find our way to truth, our own truth in this alchemical play and mixture of various levels of being. Thank you 😊🙏
