Relapse on Nofap is a very important part of this healing journey. Progress on this journey is never linear, sometimes you're up, other times you're down. It's a gradual climb of managing to go on longer and longer streaks, with minor setbacks (relapses) in between.
The first step to controlling and inevitably stopping your relapses is to lock in your discipline. Discipline is the first key to succeeding. How could you ever break past the addiction to release when you are already in a momentum of NO WINS in your life? This step is crucial. You need to always be in a momentum of WINNING. It starts with making your bed in the morning. Doing that workout you are dreading to start. Doing whatever it takes to improve yourself TODAY. This builds your confidence and amplifies Nofap by backing you with purpose and discipline. It's an oath to yourself that YOU place self improvement over superficial pleasure.
Last but certainly never least is MEDITATION.
I've said it before and I'll continue to hit on this point until we're all on the same page about it, if you're not doing it, you're making this journey HARDER on yourself than it needs to be. All men and women should take the time to be still and sit in silence everyday, the world would be a better place. With meditation, you are training yourself to catch triggering thoughts of relapse before you ever have the time to indulge them. Meditation gives you the space between you and your desire for instant gratification. That space is all that you need to make a different decision. To take the high road this day and the next.
