Mazda CX-5 Infotainment Screen Not Working? Watch This Fix!

I ordered and installed in my CX-5. The video is great and I found the repair to be very easy if you follow along and pay attention. Only issue I have is that the touchscreen doesn’t function. I can navigate fine with the command knob on the console but wonder if it’s an issue with the ribbon installation or just a defective digitizer?

I am glad you got it. I definitely recommend rechecking the cable connection. Very common mistake and it should get you going again.

I have a Mazda cx5 2021. The screen appears to be working But when I use my connector knob to Navigate the screen nothing works. We have tried to change the connector knob and CMU That neither fixed it. Any ideas.What could be wrong?

Sounds like it is the connection for the knob itself. I would double check to make sure it was plugged in correctly when you changed it

Jason, I live in Las Vegas, how close are you to me? My vehicle was stored outside for 27 months in the heat. This is my first vehicle & infotainment is pretty much doing what it wants. I’m 60+ not sure I can perform this on my own.

We are located in Louisiana. I recommend reaching out to a local car audio shop who can help you with the install if you don't want to give it a try. But the video will walk you through it step by step
