Noir Extreme is the 3rd release in the men's line following the original and the EDT versions. This is the most talked about in the line on KZbin and it was about time that I smell this one. An excellent release but Anthracite still has the crown as the best of the Noir line.

It’s my favorite and has been my daily scent for years. Strangely enough I replaced my deodorant with this… giving each pit a spritz, and it almost eliminates all odor 🤔 My theory is that the alcohol in it is actually killing what’s left of some odor-causing bacteria. I’ve been wondering what the alcohol % is in it, but haven’t been able to find that info. Have you ever heard of people using parfum sprays as deodorants? And is there any way to find out what the alcohol level is in this particular one?

Noir extreme is a whisper but what it whispers is incredibly profound It is gourmand, but it's also oriental...but then again it's also almost even a little fresh... Kulfi, saffron, cardamom, sandalwood, amber. Sonia Constant is a genius bc this fragrance is a masterpiece You said it Mark, it has so much going on within it's relatively tame scent throw while still lasting an impressive amount of time. One of my favorite designers scents of all time and perfect for date night

There are a lot of sweet scents but this one has something special. Very well blended and smells high quality. A little powdery but perfectly unisex imo. Not a huge performer on my skin so i think this is a great fall time date scent, perfect for close encounters.

Noir Extreme is beautiful. I love the cardamom, it's a warm enveloping scent, I smell my wrist constantly when I wear it. I prefer it to Spicebomb Extreme (great fragrance but too heavy with cinnamon for my skin) and La Nuit De L'homme (has a weird vanilla cake batter dry down when I wear it).

An all time favourite and perfect for the upcoming fall weather. I get good performance from this one - some folk have mentioned the Pour Femme might have better performance and I can attest it smells very similar so could be an option for some if performance is an issue.

Was legit my fav from TF for a good 2 years before I picked up some of the private blends. The femme version has a bit more pop off of my skin, so I slightly prefer that one for the cold weather. But for an even more interesting take, try layering it with Eau de Missions Cologne. A match made in heaven imo.

It's side by side with DHI in my shelf. To me both are just the best fragrances to wear at night as you dress in all black, can't go wrong with being smooth and refined, and sensual, elegant and sophisticated. Very solid release from Tom Ford!

Actually projection is really my issue with this. After some time it does sit to close to the skin. But I’m wearing it right now and I still love this!!!!!

I think it reminds of YSL la'nuit d' la'homme and yeah is it me or is this weak? Maybe the older batches were better? I loved the scent and dropped £90 quid on it cos i loved the smell but it doesnt last long, gonna have to spray more and take a decant, but i wonder of the older formulations performed better? Anyone know? I tried to find an old bottle as well but nothing seems available, it is what it is and it smells wonderful, that cant be denied

We're all on the same spot folks.. Amazing scent but projection, sillage and performance overall are terrible.. From what I understand older batches had better performance (still no beast though). An alternative could be the pour femme version (which is unisex), pretty close, just a bit more floral.

The fragrance Robes08 finds it similar to is Spicebomb Extreme. Tom Ford Noir is the femine version of Spicebomb Extreme. Very similar fragrances.

Hello. Here in Israel, it is already autumn. Today I put GIORGIO ARMANI YOU INTENSELY the smell reminded me of something. When I was in my office a secretary was sitting with me. She said there IS a smell of a a dental clinic here. I asked two more people.and Yes the smell reminds them a hospital. I'd be glad to hear your opinion

Great insight as always, Marc. I got my nose on Noir Extreme a few years ago and it was my first intro to Tom Ford and I have been fairly impressed with it. I will agree that this is more of an oriental fragrance than a gourmand because I personally get a lot of saffron and what appears to be a rose-like backbone to the scent. The kulfi in this comes across as creamy, as you said, but I think it helps the floral presentation of the scent. But yeah, you hit all points. If I had much more of a fragrance backing, I'd be able to tell you what this is reminding you of, but I can't pull anything that is familiar about this, so I haven't come across that particular fragrance yet, sorry. But anyways, I can't wait to see your review when you get to it! Chat with you later, man. :)

On me too. That’s why I only got a 15ml decant. Too weak for an “extreme”. But Tom Ford sold out to Estée Lauder, and they reformulated all the TF frags and destroyed the TF house. It’s what the evil Estée Lauder does best. I have a few from before TF sold out and oh my goodness what a huge difference from the crap that’s sold at TF now days since it’s been bought out. Everything is weaker and if u didn’t know any better you’d swear u bought a fake. But no, it’s just EL doing what they do best. Destroying a great perfumers house.

IMO very pleasant perfume but I think it is only good for randevu and intimate encounters with your other half , since it only skin scent. My only negative thing is the performance other it is a great release.

I find the scent to be quite gorgeous and fairly unique. However the performance is terrible and I struggle to get even two hours from it. Decant worthy but I’d never grab a full bottle because of the performance.
