From the very first time I listened to this song (it's been a few dozens now), I have instantly visualized the beginning of a ritual. The deep bass is like a cello, the high pitched synth is like an ehru; the blasting snare announces that it's almost time. Everybody gathers at the center of a spiral drawn on the floor of an enormous monastery painted in silver chrome belonging to an unidentified religion. The chant begins. It's a sacrifice ritual. The sacrificed is, of course, the pleasure model. The amazing sequence that follows the drop consists of torture required for the ritual to be successful. Due to these people's resemblance to androids, it's uncertain how agony or suffering even exists for this object of sacrifice. The end result that everybody witnesses with pride and joy is not a figure of beauty, but a horrid creature that bows to their imaginary god. The final chorus plays while the entire filming sequence is reversed, ending only with the silver chrome monastery left empty, and finally, darkness.

Man I'm high as shit and all I can say is this man is #WOKE, and I can tell this information comes from a higher power, higher energy even, ancient wisdom. One could reach the same conclusions as he through enough meditation... or a tab or two. I see what he means though, it sort of tells a story, and while that may be HIS perspective, all of this is of course CONJECTURE, and therefore no different then a group of art enthusiasts describing what they see in a painting. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

This is the greatest song I've ever heard in electronic music for maybe the last decade. The video is magnificent. My video art professor in college always said music videos are at their best when they give further value to the song, instead of take away. In this case, it absolutely adds value. Such a beautiful dark enigma of emotions, struggle and power. As an audiovisual artist I have to say this is an absolute masterpiece and inspires and speaks to me at the core. Such beautiful work.
