Hi, I bought this phone for my mom and I was trying to personalize the homescreen. I want there only contacts, menu and lock screen option. But i can't find a way how to do it, I remember I once was able to do it on my older Nokia, but now I'm stuck with "go to" and "camera" options on home screen. Also, is it possible for the phone to lock itself when the screen goes dark?

Nokia are missing a trick yet again. They were the leaders once upon a time, but got complacent. Apple came in and was like, fine we’ll innovate. Now Nokia have the chance to make decent feature phones and have market share by default purely on nostalgic value, if they want it. Make something that gives users a chance to take some screen time vacay without feeling alienated ffs. Every feature phone they release is utter garbage, shit OS, crap spec etc and looks like it’s made by Fisher Price. Let me spell it out to Nokia (/licence holder): make an 8810, a premium phone, a high quality build, with a decent spec and slick OS… support WhatsApp(properly) , stick a decent cam on it. I’d pay £1k for that experience. You’re welcome. There’s just no direction in what you’re doing.

I could care less if it support 2g. Nokia should stop releasing phones with that thread X OS, because thread X is very restrictive while it would be better to launch them with Kai Os. Damn, I miss the early 2010s when there were different Os like windows Mobile, Bada Os, Firefox Os and now we're restricted to only 2 Os

I have an older 150 model (2016 I think). That one has bluetooth. It is unbelievable to me that this model doesn't. Just got the 2023 version and I am loving it so far. It is a lot bigger than the 2016 version. It's a shame that they didn't make it a 4g model. The battery and screen are big enough. Such a missed opportunity...

Are you referring to loudness or clarity? It's decently loud enough. For a 2G device the clarity is good. Of course no way it's closer to the HD or VoLTE quality. But it's clear for a 2G device.

@@DrNokia_theoriginal Dude, It's not clear at all. What are you talking about? I've been using nokia button phones my whole life (cheap and "expensive" ones) and this is the worst I've ever heard. That's not the only thing. My girlfriend complained that she can't understand me as clearly as on the old one. The literally worn out speakers on my 11 year old 301 sound better (which is the reason I bought a new one in the first place). I have a Samsung GT 1280 laying around which too sounds perfectly clear. I wish I could use that, but it has some broken buttons. So don't give me that cra*p. Everything here is either GSM or 4G, since they discontinued 3G support in my country, so it's the same for either one of those phones.

They are diversifying their portfolio. Devices like 2660 has 4G support. Even the newer 8210 has it. So the options are there. As for Kai OS, its more of a mess at this time. Poor battery life, half implemented goggle support etc.
