Still working fine after 6 YEARS!!!!! And that was my first phone when i was 16 year old.......seriously when i compare it with my note 8, the screen on lumia 800 still looks competitive

Good vid. Right now i got a 2 year old IPhone 3GS but im bored off IOS so i consider buying Lumia 800. I overall like the Lumia 800 first of all because of the OS Windows phone 7. But is it worth buying or should i wait for iPhone 5? Thank you for helping

Hello PhoneArena! Thank you very much for the nice review. I currently own a Nokia E7, and I'm quite happy with it. As far as the app development for Symbian, Im not too happy. I use Skype a lot on my PC, and the Symbian Skype app is completely rubbish (I cant even call people with it). Is Skype working well on the Lumia 800?

I am a teenager. I've used a Samsung Tocco lite for the past three years... Pretty sure limitations wouldn't phase me too much, considering the huge leap up from such an old piece of hardware to a proper smart phone with a Windows OS.

Hi. I'm really interested to get this phone. Currently I'm using the galaxy tab 7.7, but finding it a chore to bring it around or out of my bag. Wanna get a second phone that will mainly be use for music & a lil social media (FB, twitter. 4square,etc). Will this phone be able to survive a whole day of use? I dont mind charging it every night, but not twice a day. Have the updates solved the infamous battery issue?I had a real bad experience with my previous HTC Desire HD

Oi Basil, it's quite annoying flicking the screen around frequently m8.. epilepsy comes to mind, other than that, a grand review. I'll be buying one in the new year ;-)

I have it for a few months, no audio problems whatsoever, battery is decent enough for a smart phone with this hardware (lasts a day easily). Call quality is clear and good. In regards to apps it's a personal issue, I for instance have all the apps I need and want. If you had all those issues you probably should have contacted customer support.

Like both phones N9 & Lumia 800. The N9 does not have radio but has 2nd camera up front. Whereas Lumia has radio but no 2nd camera...still both phones are great in their own right...which one to buy?

go for the 620, since the 800 runs on WP 7.5/7.8... if you want something similar to 800 running on WP8 check 820

It should but due to the fact were looking at the phone through a camera. It's kinda like the flickering you see sometime when you film computer monitors.

Any idea's how to access the translator tool? i got shown how to take photos of foreign languages using the camera and it would translate it into English word by word over the top of the image, completely forgot how to do it and no online reviews cover it.

@FaisalElShamy Windows Phone or Android? This doesn't slow down in the long run, but rather continues to run smoothly as ever. The s3mini has android, so it's got lots of apps and games.

you don't have to wait. on xda there are some custom roms with 7.8 rtm base. and btw, 7.8 update does not "unlock" everything.

I've used HTC Desire, Samsung S2 but this is my favourite phone, soo user friendly, just the right size, looks cool, came with free case, fast internet, decent graphics. If you want a phone that does everything it does quickly, easily and not huge then it's close on perfect

In Croatia it's 500 euros, so I'm not sure where you got those figures, but I'm pretty sure it costs more than 250 euros, even in Finland

please somenone - how do I upload files from my PC to Lumia 800? I can't seem to find a way how to do this. I only have this Zune program - but it is completely useless, it only uploads videos, music and pictures.. how do I upload for instance PDF file, or how do I access my excel files located on the phone thru PC?

I do.. It's fast, responsive and easy to use. There aren't as any apps for it but as a phone it is stylish and looks great.

I have just got Nokia 800 Lumia and my biggest worry was the battery as I am using it for business and i amalways on the run out and about but it is just briliant and it took me 30 minutes to familiarise myself with it. The only disadvantage is when you creat a group of contacts you cant add more than 20 contacts per group which doesnt make sense to me???? any answer from NOKIA.

@wrangleroooo Unfortunately the only thing Android OS has that WP7 needs is Flash. No, sorry to say the WP7/7.5 does not have Flash support, however it is the fasts running html 5 phone so far.

Basic or old, as long as it get things done, that's the most important factor. So what if the UI is new aka Metro, but when comes to functionality, it does not offer as much information on the screen except with all the big tiles and text which wasting precious spaces?

Lumia 900 has got a larger 4.3" screen. front facing camera, it's a tad thinner, and 900 is an LTE device atleast the US version.
