Thanks Thomas! Have you demonstrated Targeted LDP in any of your videos? I believe I didn't see it. Could you please share the link and time stamp? Thanks very much. Really cool stuff; very helpful. Keep adding videos. Still waiting for the IES video :)
@thomastucker37643 жыл бұрын
Hi Jahid, thanks for watching! I failed to go into much detail regarding T-LDP specifically, but you can view it in action during the VPWS video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/paPNo3x4odGnrNk) around he 16:39 mark. Based on SR-OS's service architecture, our Service Distribution Point (SDP) represents the T-LDP session. Specifying a far-end of 6.6.6.6/32 for SDP87 on N1 creates our T-LDP session from N1 to N6. However - because T-LDP is unidirectional, we'll also need to specify a far-end of 1.1.1.1/32 for SDP87 on N6 for the T-LDP session to become operational. I haven't forgotten about the IES video :) I'm still trying to find time to start creating videos again. Thanks for sticking with me! Let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi Ashif, thanks for watching! I do plan on developing an in-depth video dedicated to MPLS that covers topics like RSVP-TE, static LSPs, and CSPF. However, due to my work load, it may be a couple of months before I'm able to record it.

Hello Thomas, Thank you so much for your informative videos, I noticed you just enabled protocol the LDP but not enabling the MPLS command or adding the logical interfaces to the MPLS subcommand. So, this is case it is optional as long as the LDP is up and enabled. correct?

Thomas, have you ever encountered a situation where 6 node ring looses one side and the redundant side lsp's go hard down. Getting a routingloop on one of the lsp's when the ring is up.
