I shiny hunted Ho-oh on Heart Gold from 2019, till this year. After around 54,000 resets over 3 years i finally got it a few weeks back. This kind of luck is beyond me and im incredibly happy that you didnt have to go through what i did for your encounter with this fantastic shiny. Good looks 👍

That's the thing with shiny hunting. It can take days or months but there are moments when a shiny appears in such a short time that you just don't expect to be seeing until after a few days. But the climax always hits hard no matter when we find the shiny

This is genuinely one of my favorite series’ on KZbin; the way you edit and use music, storytelling, and risk-taking makes these videos so captivating. Love the "forgot a masterball" series, its great entertainment value. One thing I'd like to see is variation in the strategies used to catch them. The whole series kinda boils down to just "i used swap and a berry to keep it from struggling." Something more akin to a challenge video maybe? But keep the narrative spin, IMO it's what makes the whole thing extremely interesting and unique. This series already kinda gives off lite challenge run vibes, but the narrative makes it feel unique, unlike most challenge videos today, but I'd love to see you do this in other games too. It'd probably be a bad idea for the algorithm to change up the format too much, especially while you're growing so fast. Anyway just some constructive criticism. Keep up the great work my dude!

Shiny Ho-Oh will always be one of my favorite shinies, just because of the memories associated with it. I was shiny hunting it for a little bit in Dynamax Adventures in Crown Tundra, it was a bit on and off only doing it like maybe twice a week because I had school to worry about and also did Dynamax Adventures for Xerneas and Blacephalon, still haven’t finished those hunts, but one day while I was just watching a Twitch Stream and grinding random DAs for the Ores and not having to do the same few DAs over and over, I randomly queued into someone else’s Ho-Oh DA and got the shiny then. And then during the Pokémon Go Tour: Johto event in Febuary, I wasn’t intending on doing many raids because I already had Ho-Oh and the other shinies could wait for a more fun and less expensive shiny hunt, but on the Ho-Oh raid I was doing for the event I got the shiny. Shiny Ho-Oh clearly likes to surprise people with how short your hunt was, but it will probably be one of my favorite shinies for a while to come

Possibly a tactic for future endeavours, also because they add to the fun and thrill: When I caught Dialga in Brilliant Diamond, it was a long battle. My main Pokemon was Gyarados, and I kid you not, he took THREE Roars of Time to the face at 1 HP, and he endured them all through the power of _friendship_ . I got Dialga in the end with a Timer Ball, so it's nowhere near as impressive as this video, but that was a wild fight.

I know how it feels when you shiny hunt and end up getting it really fast and that happened to me twice, one was when I was shiny hunting piplup for atleast 30-40 minutes and then I got it, the last one was I barely finished a shiny hunt with shaymin once I was done with shaymin I went to go shiny hunt Arceus and 30 whole minutes I found shiny Arceus. I dont think I even deserve those shinies because of how fast it was.

yo, I already talked about this tip, except on it was on my alt account and i commented it on a different channel, so yea, it just makes catching legendary and shinnies easier first you need a pokemon with a move that lowers the other pokemon’s accuracy second you need a lot of timerballs and (insert any ball that you want here) third you need to encounter any Pokémon you wanna do this on fourth you need to use the move that lowers the other pokemon’s accuracy 6 times fifth you need to spam 10-20 of (insert any ball you want here) sixth you need to throw 1 timerball at the pokemon and of this doesn’t work repeat step 5 and 6 repeatedly until you catch it also you can use defense raising moves on your pokemon, or items that raise your pokemon’s defense.
