This is one of those shows that could go really heavy into lore but instead chooses to put the focus entirely on shenanigans. Which isn't a bad thing, but I am kinda curious just what exactly Nokotan is. Just where exactly does our girl fit into the ever growing family tree of anime monster girls?

Nokotan is an eldritch being beyond compression. We see this in the newest episode, when people worship her like a god. You see, Koshitan is not the protag of a funny comedy anime, but rather a Lovecraftian horror story. She is the only sane people surrounded by those who have given themselves over to the being of Nokotan. Just like Francis Wayland Thurston, she is an outsider discovering the deer cult. It won't be long before she looks at herself in the mirror and notices she's starting to look more and more like a deer. Thus, Koshitan will no longer be the play thing of an eldritch horror, but just another one of its drones. Then the Nokotan will move on to another victim.
