That 4.6 value is from people of this side of the ocean. In a website I read that My deer friend nokotan rating was going down after the 3rd episode (when appears the koshitan's dance), and we can't see sales numbers of the manga, that means Shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan doesn't has Big sales to have news of it (maybe it has Big sales, but no so Big). The last thing I Heard, that the show was broadcast on a cultural mexican Channel (for the temples of the middle in each episode) Conclusion: people outside of Japan love shikanoko nokonoko koshitantan, but japanese people is other thing
