I've had my simplex with the headphones for about two months now and absolutely love is thing. For the price it absolutely cannot be beaten 😎👍

I don't usually use headphones, but my machine came with the wireless headphones. They're really nice. Cut them on and the beeps tell the battery level - which last a long time - and they're comfortable. What more can you ask for? Mine are Green Edition for whatever that's worth.

Great metal detector the Simplex+, I still have mine with the extra coils SP24 and SP22. Still very useful. Cheers

Yes I love mine still. I even have the Legend, but the Simplex is also fun to detect with

I believe these are not bluetooth headphones. They are wireless yes, but they sync to a specific frequency with the detector…similar to different bands on a CB radio. Getting mine today!! Thanks and keep digging!
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
My words to describe them were incorrect. You are right. They are wireless, not Bluetooth. I appreciate you watching the video.
@billholb1974 Жыл бұрын
Yes they use 2.4 ghz technology like most drones..Bluetooth would have latency issues.

Thank you for the info ! Can you tell me what the small plug hole that is on the headphones...looks to me like an 1/8" speaker jack...thanks !
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is a standard hack plug in. I’ve never used it, but it is exactly that.

Question..I just got these and the earmuffs part moves 360..is this normal? I'm thinking it's so you can adjust it for certain hats?
@southernrelics Жыл бұрын
Hmm. Good question. I’ll have to test and see if mine do that.
@billholb1974 Жыл бұрын
@Southern Relics yeah it actually makes sense and I'm surprised I haven't found much information on it.

Do you know where I can get a good use Coil for the Simplex 11’
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
I don’t. You can check the Facebook detector groups to see if one has one.

I hardly ever use them but should, my buddy and I were at a swimming area on each end of the beach and the two simplex's was sounding off. I imagine the people didn't like it all that much. LOL I am starting to like the vibrate with low volume. But thats no replacement for the headphones, they are nice.

Are the green headphones waterproof. Can you dive with them
@southernrelics3 жыл бұрын
great question. they are not waterproof. Plus, any bluetooth device will not work in water. Water blocks the signal. You would have to buy the waterproof plug in headphones for the Simplex.
@timrussell15592 жыл бұрын
Getting ready to buy the simplex package from kellyco that comes with the wireless headphones. Curious to know what type of rechargeable battery pack those heaphones use and if they are owner replaceable when they wear out. Anybody know?
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
Great question. So far my headphones have been going strong now for over two years. Any battery bank will charge them right up if needed. The battery lasts quite a while.
@chuckmarkham93032 жыл бұрын
Are those waterproof?
@southernrelics2 жыл бұрын
No. Plus wireless does not work underwater anyway. I’ve had them in light rain, but not in heavy rain.
@whimsymaker3 жыл бұрын
I forget does the pulsedive automatically connect after you have connected the headphones to the simplex?
@southernrelics3 жыл бұрын
Well, you have to sync them up too. I’ll do a video on syncing those two also. But once the Simplex and PulseDive are both synced to the headphones, it makes life much easier out in the field.
@52Ford3 жыл бұрын
@@southernrelics So you can have BOTH synced at ONCE to the same headphones? I've been told that, but if it's true, I'm getting a PulseDive. Been wanting to get into under water detecting, anyway.
