The building is littered with the seemingly drugged unconscious bodies of their fans. 2D represents himself. He tries to wake the fans up, bring them out of their stupor. When they won't move, he looks back on the days of free artistic expression, represented by Noodle. Murdoch represents all that this life has to offer; he's a rock star, sex icon, he's adored by everyone around him. He's just as trapped as 2D, but he's living it up. Russel shows us how 2D feels; he's doing his part, playing his music, but he clearly feels shame to be a part of this. The video ends with Noodle pursued by choppers. What the Inc can't absorb, it destroys.
