This is the coolest rig I saw at the Ocean City RV show. The build quality was superb.

I like that little rig a lot but am a little concerned about the short 144” wheelbase, since much of my travel could be on the Great Plains. Would get twitchy in the wind? Unfortunately there are no owners out there yet I can ask. It’s certainly well sprung with the suspension modifications. I guess I’ll have to travel to Tom’s River, NJ and have a look. 😉

I currently have new Winnebago Navion on the sprinter with no suspension mods. Driven through Kansas and Colorado. Not a big deal with wind. I’m sure this smaller profile would do well in that environment .
@WhereRVGoingАй бұрын
@urbanrver3527 I'm sure it will, this rig was designed with overlanding and adventure camping in mind

We haven’t driven it around that area but the suspension is pretty stout. Come check it out 😎

Have been following Steve's builds for a long time now. Just curious why the aluminum cabinets inside vs. all your other builds rhat have wood cabinets? I would imagine the aluminum would be noisey on rough roads regardless of how they are mounted but maybe im worong. Regardless this is pretty spectacular but maybe give an option for wooden cabinets which i think would make it feel a bit less industrial inside.
@WhereRVGoingАй бұрын
@nomadrvs maybe you can answer this?
@nomadrvs23 күн бұрын
We add sound deadening under to upper cabinet bottoms, inside the larger panels as well like the fridge. Carpet on the bottom of the upper cabinets and lined the drawers with carpet as well. You’ll get noise from the items you put into the fridge and cabinets etc. I haven’t found them to be any noisier compared to wood cabinets. However they are stronger, lighter weight and will last forever compared to wood cabinets. Plenty of color options for the cabinets. Including 2 new matte colors. Also all of the shaker doors can have an inlay.

I would prefer length wise single bed sleeping because it is easier to get up in the night. I’ve seen your set up but the.mattress and bed floor push back and pull forward over the dinette. I think it was in a Toyota. It’s not a want but more of a need 😮😅. Thanks
