Honestly, I think this is the single best video I've ever seen on this channel. If I were to share just one video as an introduction to NC, this would be it. Some people are grousing about the music, but I'm ambivalent on that point -- I could take it or leave it. In any case, the content was note perfect.

@@torontovoice1 You're worried that you might "feel like an immigrant" and you are concerned about the religious observations. From my own experience I advise not trying to fit in. You don't need to be Muslim to live in the UAE. You don't need to be Buddhist to live in Thailand. You don't need to be Orthodox Christian to live in Georgia. My advice, take it or leave it, is not to try to become a local, but to respect the local people and be interested in them. Typically, I find that people like to be respected and when you take an interest in their culture they often express interest in your culture as well. In the various countries I've lived in and visited, the local folk have been nice. They like to share their culture with people from outside, whether you're a visitor or you've moved there permanently. The World is a nicer place than it looks.

Probably pretty rare. Day trading is the mirage of making money from stocks and shares by riding the waves, buying in the trough, selling on the crest. However, it's you vs other day-traders and computers. It's a mugs game. Even if you think you have a 'system' to win the competition, it's about as likely to work as a gambling system. All you need do is try it on a fantasy day-trader system, based on real numbers of course, to see your imaginary money go up in smoke. Only Warren Buffet's value investing system coupled to compound interest, and holding your nerve in the crashes, works to make serious money.

OH THIS VIDEO HAS JUST BEEN UPLOADED! I have a question and need your help, Andrew. Currently doing 300k/year and scaling it up. I live in the Netherlands and have the Dutch citizenship. I’d like to set up my business in a low tax country and live in Turkey. So I had a few questions. 1) is it possible to set up a free zone company in UAE without an Emirati partner? Or is that inevitable? 2) what is the best Balkan country to set up a business? I heard you saying in another video that Balkan countries have a rusty business infrastructure, but that Bulgary has an easy one. How good is that compared to other low tax countries or UAE?

I appreciate your work and have been a loyal viewer for a while now. Despite this, I share the sentiment of many in your comments regarding the persistent background music. While it might be intended to enhance the atmosphere, it often distracts from your content's core message. Many of us have shared this feedback, yet it seems our voices have been overlooked. This isn't about quashing your creativity, but enhancing viewer experience. Ignoring audience feedback may unintentionally damage the sense of community around your channel. Please reconsider the use of background music in your videos. It's a small tweak that could make a significant difference to your dedicated viewers. Thank you for considering our feedback.

1. Business: UAE or HK. 2. Where to live: it has to be flexible and not related to any rules, and without paying on your international income. 3. Citizenship: agnostic passports, with no war records, latin American and European citizenship like Ireland without staining yourself with buying citizenship schemes because you can find your name in pandora leaks or something like that 😅😂. Getting a citizenship by spending 1,3,5 years without playing it with money will give zero clue to media and nasty journalists or even intelligence services on you. As long as you don't break the law too. So it's not just enough to do things legally. Sometimes you do things legally but envy of others will let them to look for black dots and stains on you. Do it legally but relax also.

In the first case scenario (residence in Italy and business in UAE), Italy will hit you with Permanent Establishment, rendering the UAE incorporation useless. Even if you try to cover your tracks by hiring a foreign CEO and taking youself out of the orgchart, if you are the ultimate decision maker in your business you will not survive an audit by the Italian tax authorities. Plus your new CEO might trigger Permanent Establishment himself in whichever jurisdiction he lives. If you have a true solution for PE, I would be very interested to hear it.
@CesaresChannel

The Italian tax authorities won’t audit you for about 10 years!
@AndrewFlenders
@AndrewFlenders Жыл бұрын
@@CesaresChannel That is incorrect. The Italian lump sum regime (which indeed lasts up to 10 years) relates to PERSONAL tax, whereas Permanent Establishment relates to CORPORATE tax. The Italian tax authorities can indeed audit your non-Italian company at any time if they sense that you're effectively managing it remotely from Italian soil regardless of whether you're under the lump sum regime or not. Believe me, I have had many conversations with different Italian tax lawyers on this topic.

@PerspektiveAusland Жыл бұрын
To benefit from the 0% rate in the UAE, the core business activity and value generation has to be performed in the freezone in the UAE. And because there is an audit requirement for all companies claiming the 0% tax in the UAE, it is highly likely that any auditor will spot very quickly if you have enough substance in the UAE. It means that all your staff needs to be working on site in the free zone. No freelancers, no nomads, no non residents. This includes of course the director of the business. Given all that, this person most likely won't have an issue in Italy.
@AndrewFlenders
@AndrewFlenders Жыл бұрын
@@PerspektiveAusland Sure, but that is not the case scenario Andrew presented in his video. He said that the owner (resident in Italy) of the business (incorporated in UAE) was also the main manager of the business. If, instead, you are just a non-operational owner (basically an "investor"), then your UAE company wont trigger Permanent Establishment in Italy. However, if you are in fact the ultimate decision maker and you live in Italy, your UAE company will indeed be exposed to the PE risk.
