These BANKERS were afraid that the United States, if they remained in one block and as one nation, would attain economic and financial independence, which would upset their financial domination over the world. The VOICE OF THE ROTHSCHILDS prevailed. Therefore they sent their emissaries into the field to exploit the question of slavery and to open an abyss between the two sections of the Union." -Otto von Bismarck The point is: WALLSTREET PROFITS WHEN THERE IS BLOOD IN THE STREETS! Giving up my citizenship is not an option because, as both a military and federal government retiree, I'd lose all my pension income, VA benefits, etc. I would if I could, but the golden handcuffs of a monthly annuity keeps me in check. Instead, I make a point of living in countries that are safer and cheaper than the US (there are many). Also, I spend fewer 4 weeks a year in the US so that what income I earn from my freelance activities falls under the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion. Even if you can't - or don't want to - renounce your citizenship, there are still ways to go somewhere "where you are treated best" and live a better life.

Andrew, this short bit of content is some of the best you have made for the people curious about life outside their home country. In my home country, I paid exorbitant taxes I could not avoid without losing that for which I had worked and owned. I received nothing in return for it. Public safety? - Good joke, thanks. Good roads? - Some places there, yes. Most often huge potholes and rubbish everywhere along the hard shoulder. I could go on and on... I applaud you and your company informing people and let them make their own decisions based on their knowledge and desires. Now having worked in 43 countries since I was 19 years old, I also try to persuade people to look outside the country of their birth if they are not satisfied with their existence in that place. A human is only limited in their life, by their own abilities, desire and intellect. If you desire a better life, go make it. If you just want to sit and complain with your head in the sand, then you have what you deserve and if it sucks, that's on you.

The ones that feel the need to criticize the platform or content, are currently not ready for this kind of change in their life. Even though they want to take those steps, feel they won’t succeed. And therefore give up, only to voice their frustrations in the same place they want help from. To those that want change, it takes one step at a time to succeed. It will not be overnight. Take the best of what you learn here and apply any part of it to your life just once. See what happens. If things are horribly bad for any one of us, what do we have to lose. I have not made to the point of making these major changes, but I will continue to work toward it and continue to take what I learn from here and plan those steps needed best for my life. Add progressive taxation to the mix and you will realise that they only educate you for “free” so they get tax money back one way or another. In fact I'm going to be moving to Italy in the near future (yea, I know, but I gotta get back to the sea). My Eu passport makes that easy. Back in the day, when I was a teen, hijackings were common. RM1, and you're good until your next appointment (usually 3 months). If a teeny tiny, supposedly-3rd world nation can take care of their citizens to such an extent, whereas the big, self-proclaimed the best nation in the world can't, i don't see a reason to be loyal. It's especially painful to see other country getting free education, healthcare, and housing out of your own tax dollars when your own countrymen have to tick "Do not resuscitate" for the fear of being bankrupt.

Perhaps Andrew, one point you have made time and again is how dysfunctional the US is. My wife and I are retired teacher's and can barely make ends meet with social security. We have gone to Africa to help teachers and found that the most rewarding life we have ever lived.... would go to live there and contribute to the people if possible. The people are the hardest workers I've ever been around.......would gladly get a retirement visa or citizenship..... Don't sweat the nay sayers.

Significant point: my state, Montana, and the US federal government seem to trap you so you cant afford to leave. Waiting until you can afford it doesn't work. You've just gotta go. Be ready to live simply and be ready to be aware of the invisible benefits. Culture, inherent safety.

I am a fervent believer in the American system myself. However, personal circumstances, such as bullying can turn anybody off on even the greatest country in the world. Keep up the good work, Andrew!

what IS true is that when intelligent, innovative, productive people leave a country, the country suffers. look at Venezuela. Venezuela has no hope whatsoever to recover if the people that have left, don't return when the regime is finally changed.

If the country keeps on abusing you and your hard-earned money, then they do deserve it, right. Go where you're treated best.
@matthewnirenberg8 ай бұрын
Which is exactly why far-left commie BS and hating of the rich (i.e. anyone with $1 more than them) like happened in Venezuela shouldn't ever happen in any country. Any country dumb enough to do that BS utterly deserves what they get. Look at ZA & ZW - the way they treated the farmers because they were "white" and successful. The one's that survived fled as soon as they could, the rest were murdered. Now the two countries are begging for the ones that fled to "return and help them farm for food". Given how they were treated, why would anyone ever return - after all the countries can NEVER be trusted again. Similar things happened in the USSR and other countries behind the Iron Curtain - those that fled wouldn't even visit once the USSR and communism fell (not even to the countries that joined the EU). Many people have fled AU & NZ since the plandemic as insane restrictions crippled businesses that were online only because they weren't deemed "essential" until Stage 4 restrictions happened, and thus weren't allowed to operate. Many people have been regulated out of their jobs and many are sick to death of the annual "do an update / refresher course" BS that's required just to stay qualified - having a qualification isn't enough. Also, many are fleeing because taxes are going through the roof as the regimes in AU waste money that they don't have and are increasing and creating new taxes weekly. AU & NZ are collapsing and those that leave won't return (some might drop in only for a short visit once a year to see friends) because the regimes and the masses don't give a damn about anyone who's successful - such people are seen as the enemy, the "evil rich".

What do you owe your country? That mindset is why a country's government is so hard to deal with. It should be what the country owes me. I pay a lot in taxes for services. If the services provided are not the best, and they are wasting my taxes, go shopping. Capitalism!

My grandfather named a place in another country where the family could gather before WW2. Let the peasants have pride in their nation states, I have to protect the family as we have for 2000 years.

Great video. I have a weird off-the-wall question, but perhaps you may know the answer. I’m American, over 60, and an artist - a good one. Are there any countries out there that are particularly friendly to artists? Long ago Ireland let artists live tax-free, but I fancy those days are gone. Any other current examples that you know of? Keep up the good work.

Working on second citizenship by descent so I can retire overseas. Nothing keeping me in the U.S. and i feel no guilt at all about that. Only two generations later, i am looking to return to Italy for a better quality of life. Which is of course why my ancestors came over in 1902. Go where you're treated best would absolutely resonate with them.

Everyone is at different level in life. Some are at the kindergarden level others at a higher level. We are all teachers at the core, our job it is to show up and be an example, and some teach whenever others are ready to level up and understand that there is plenty for all.

Just wondering, if you renounced your US Citizenship, how is it that you will receive social security when you retire? Also on a different note, wondering if someone is receiving a pension from a State pension plan in the US and they renounce citizenship, will they continue to receive that pension? When you cut ties with the US I'm not sure they will still pay out.
@jvahl87478 ай бұрын
Here's something really f- up. American, who retired from working overseas, receives their retirement + small amount of social security for the years worked in US. FACT: I am allowed to collect both retirements as long as I live in one or the other country! Should I decide to go to Panama to live, my US social security would be cut off entirely AND the overseas country would lower the amount of retirement because Panama would be less expensive to live. This is total BS, I CANNOT AFFORD OR WANT TO LIVE IN EITHER, but am stuck.
