I agree that everything is easier to do, just drive the rig. I mean the propane with not having to go into town. OK. I get that but ultimately you should be using that engine every 10 14 days anyway. It's never good to let it sit for months.

I agree Eric, I would prefer to just pack up the rv and drive it over. Exercising the engine is a good idea at least every 10 days or so. I'm 64 and the thought of wrestling the blue boy around is a big bunch of nope! 😎✌️

Yea, it’s better to just bring the whole RV to the dump station. That portable waste tank is gross. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, after u can decorate for Xmas. That’s more traditional.

Get rid of the heater buddy And replaced with a diesel heater, propane produces A lot of humidity, I've had heater buddies for years and they've rotted out the inside of my campers and motor homes Because of the humidity. Plus they are dangerous because they can produce carbon monoxide at high elevations and if they're not properly maintained and the vowels become blocked. diesel heaters produce a dry heat and are much more economical to run. sometimes you struggle to find a place to fill up your propane but you can always get diesel at most gas stations.

Just prop the hose up with bricks, or anything.. , pieces of wood like a fence panel or 2x4 and make it angle down by stacking less and less bricks.

Parking your RV for 7 months without moving it is asking for trouble. RV maintenance places have a massive rush of customers the start and end of every season when they find out their gas is no longer good or half their RV doesn't work anymore, you don't want to be that guy when it's time to leave. Maybe see if you can come up with a 'half prepare' procedure that gets the important stuff locked in but saves time? Even the whole thing every two weeks is well worth it to not have to deal with that tiny thing lol
@gregjo5141

Come on man we all know you don't drink water. But I'd rather move the RV every 10-12 days or so rather than doing whatever you just did. Gives you a good reason to keep everything moving and lubricated on the Big Foot. What you keep in motion stays in motion when it doesn't it dies. Just like everything. Relationships or Mechanical, they're all the same.

Unless you were like really set out and set up for camp mode, stuff strawn out everywhere, etc..

I'm not sure if you are aware but I've seen on a couple of other KZbin videos that there is a pump that is designed just for connecting to the discharge of the rv holding tanks and it pumps the waste water through a garden hose. Even the pump runs off of 12v dc. I don't remember what it's called but a simple Google search and I'm sure that you will find it in a little amount of time.

I understand you’re letting RV sit, but I hope you know another thing too. Once in a while you gotta turn over the motor of that RV to make sure it does not blow the seals out of the motor or the transmission. If you ever decide want to try to sell it it’s not good on motors or transmissions to sit for a long period of time if you fired up like every two weeks or every month, if you decide to try to sell it, then you won’t have any problems. People look for that I mean I’m a background mechanic. I look for that kind of stuff when I decide to go buy another vehicle and if it has been sitting more than a month, they can keep the truck because I’m not getting it not worth it trying to help out all you people out here I mean, if you want to get your moneys worth don’t let your vehicle sit start them up once an hour and then let the fluids go through. I’m not a bad person. I just try to give people ideas and just try to help out everyone and that’s what it should be
