For chickens with feet problems, get a 5 gallon bucket, cut a hole in the top on the edge for the head to peek out (and for air). Soak feet in Epsom salts and water 2x daily for about an hour. It may take a couple weeks.

Having a baby swing when my kids were infants saved my sanity. Since Sadie loves movement so much you might want to look into getting one if you don't have one already. Just be sure to do some homework into which ones actually work the best. My youngest grandchilds baby swing was weird and even on the lowest setting was so abrupt that it not only scared her, but it also scared my daughter and I that she was going to get launched out of it. My kids swings never did that. I can't believe how much Sadie has changed and how big she is already getting. Hope these three weeks fly by so mommy and daddy with be back together before you know it. It had to have been tough for Jordan to leave you guys. But so sweet that he went ahead so that the workshop/tiny home will be baby safe and ready. God bless you and yours always.

Aww... I hope you bring Roger in, he was meowing to come in.... You can train Roger to keep to his area inside (or build him his own little house too), so, he doesn't disturb baby when she comes home. One of our cats loved my niece's boys when they were tiny; he would sleep at their feet, like he was 'protecting' the baby. Animals are smart, and love their humans. Can't wait to see y'all reunited and everyone back on Lola's Farm. Hopefully, bachelor man will be back to. LOL! Many blessings.

This really makes me miss Central America. I loved it there. I'd move back this afternoon if I could and stay. Jordan should just speak Spanish while he's alone down there so his Spanish gets better. That's the only way I learned, making errors around people who helped me and observing people while listening. You'll enjoy it there much much more when you're fluent and can tell jokes or stories or explain problems. And you'll get more respect. I wish I could go help with your project!

Awww, Jordan, you’re bawling because that’s what it is to be a parent. All that love 💝 ❤️ 💕 oh and as a nurse and one who wears glasses, you need to wear the mask high and pinch the nose wire tightly over your nose. Sometimes you’ll get fog but if your glasses are over your mask I find this works best.

I hope Adriana is trying to learn some English tho...it's hard when they're all 2gether & talking bcuz I'd luv to know what she's thinking sometimes, ya know?! I think she feels - not left out - but maybe wishing she knew what everyone was saying, bcuz fact is, English prevails in many situations (like this). I know Kaylee and ESP Jordan have learned a LOT of Spanish. I just hope Andriana is taking the time to learn to speak some English so she can join in on some of the fun too when everyone is talking. Anyway, sorry for the diatribe lol. Your comment just made me think of her 💜 ~Peace✌🏽

The cook has bumble foot. Soak daily in epsom salt water. Gold Shaw Farms has a great video on how he treats his birds. Basically, be a lidded 5 gallon bucket with a whole so they can stick their heads outs, filled enough to cover the ulcerations. Soak up to one hour daily before you feed. Bring a treat with breakfast. Birds will learn the boring time in buckets earns the good treats. Deep bedding is important if birds will be in the same spot. To quote Joel Salitin, you need a carbonasios diaper, so add dry carbon (leaves, straw, wood chips, saw dust) to the bedding as needed to keep things dry and smelling nice. At about 4" to 6" composting will happen, creating heat and eating the stuff that causes so many issues.

I know your door has been built, however babies sleep through anything once they get used to it. We lived near a firehouse, a railroad track and an airport landing strip. Had two babies, they came home and it was their normal. No problems either the noises. They did cry as babies do but not when the noises happened. Please don’t make it quiet for the baby to sleep. I also found that a radio playing quietly all night worked well.

Man, when I saw you all sweaty in Panamá, I get the same way when I'm in US and returning to PR. All that humidity hits you hard! It drives me crazy!!! My hair gets so frizzy and all soak wet. I hate it. I don't want to talk to no one until I take a cool temp shower from head to toes. Then it's me again. I'm not neurotic anymore but with my frizzy hair, so what the heck, I love Puerto Rico so much. I don't know how you guys keep on working or talking so cool 😎😎😎. I'm as a lady, I want to go running to the bathroom. Well, that's the way us women work. 🤪🤪🤪

Aww, I was crying when you separated at the airport. Jordan is such a protective daddy and partner. And Kaylee you’re so brave , keep going one moment at a time sweetheart. You,Re darling Sadie is such a cutie pie. She’s really adorable. Can’t wait for you all to get back to the farm. It was so nice to see the farm and karkee and all the animals again. Bless you all, you darling community and family. Xxxx

I was wrong to worry about the animals when you guys left. Kake and Adriana did a fantastic job taking care of the farm and the animals! I apologize to this beautiful tribe of humans. I’m so sorry. Love the care you have for each other, the animals, land and beauty of your home... ❤️

Ok, all those people who put down Jordan and Kaylee and Rodrigo, for doing what they did! We wait for your apologies to appear here for them! Kaylee the time will fly with caring for your wee Sadie. Your life has definitely changed. In a good way. From one Mum to another. When Sadie sleeps, please also close your eyes and try to. I know that it doesn't always work out that way, but fingers crossed, you manage to occasionally. These are tough months, absolutely. I used to think, way back then, how can I carry on like this. (My partner then did not offer any assistance)...I had no family close to help. But, we do cope. 🙏🏼🌹 Jordan, welcome back to your little piece of paradise.

Try putting your daughter on the passenger side of the car in the back seat (instead of behind the drivers seat) you will be able to reach back easier and you can buy a small mirror to go under the rear view mirror. The small mirror that hangs under the rear view mirror can be pointed in a manner you can see your daughter without compromising your view out of your normal rear view mirror. They usually sell the small mirror in any baby section of a big box store. My wife and I did this with both of our children why they were growing up. It allowed you to reach back at a stop light or stop sign and give the pacifier back to them or a toy or see if they threw up, which my son loved to do for me. Good luck to you both.

The safest passenger seat in a vehicle is behind the driver (so, you've got it right. I learned this when I became a mother. And pulling off the road (instead of trying to do anything while driving) is the best way to check on a crying baby. You're a natural Kalee!
