Hello from Japan. I’ve got this exactly the same watch a month ago and I’m very satisfied with it. 1. It’s very accurate even though it is 21,600 frequency. 2. Very good visibility with elegant ink blue hands. 3. It’s made decent style in every way. Thank you for your kind introduction of this watch.

For the sake of accuracy I should have said that the early movement was a modified Peseaux 7001. They took the movement and prettied it up a bit.

In the end it's all about passion. The appreciation of micro mechanics, and the inherent beauty and usefulness of something you will be looking at dozens of time a day. I wear watches all the time and feel "naked" when I don't have one on. Thanks for chiming in and watching my video

Looks like the hands are heat blued, which is really beautiful technique in good watch manufacturing... over here in Germany Nomos got themselves a very good reputation. Of course different price level than L&S or Glashütte but excellent watch making! Btw... live ur channel... greetings from Munich... stay tuned

I currently own a Sinn 104 on a Staib mesh bracelet, and I am currently thinking of adding a Nomos Tangente 35 to my collection. Other option would be selling the Sinn and buying a Speedmaster Professional, what do you think would be the better course of action?
@3691686 жыл бұрын
IMHO sell the Sinn and buy the Speedy
@Ownedmw2player6 жыл бұрын
Buying the Speedy would mean not getting the Nomos. BTW have you had your Speedy's endlinks become wobbly/loose over time?
@3691686 жыл бұрын
Both watches are very nice but also very different watches as well. The Speedmaster is one of the iconic watches out there and every collector should make room for one. I've never had any problems with endlinks

Finally, a full review on this watch. Thank you. I love that it needs to be wound manually. Could you tell me about the winding action? Is it smooth and quiet when you wind it? Do you have to pull out the crown to wind it?
@3691687 жыл бұрын
The winding is smooth, and makes the typical ratcheting sound you would expect from winding. The sound is normal and comforting to hear. The crown is already in the winding position when it is flush up against the case. You only pull out the crown to set the time. Thanks for watching !

I got this watch recently and I wanted to know roughly how many times do you wind every 2 days? Could you give me a rough number? I mean the winding action if done for about 35 times, is it fully wound? Just a rough estimate.... do you know this? Do you also know if the balance wheel for the Tangents is made by NOMOS? The NOMOS website claims that since 2014, they will use the in house balance wheel across all their models, but not sure if it made it to the Tangente. Any ideas on this? I absolutely love this watch. It is very classy and simple!
@3691686 жыл бұрын
I wind this watch daily, and when I do I just keep winding until I start to feel some resistance. Once I do, I cautiously keep winding very slowly until I can't. unforunately I haven't counted the number of turns of the crown .

What do you think about the size? Should I go for 35 or 38?
@3691685 жыл бұрын
Unless your wrist is really big, 35mm is a good size. the bezel is slim on this watch so it looks bigger than the case diameter would suggest.

Nomos look kind of cheap to me for some reason. Maybe it’s the bauhaus style. How does it feel though? Feel of quality?
@3691686 жыл бұрын
It probably looks "cheap" because of its simplicity, but the quality is very good and doesn't feel cheap whatsoever.

NO BULLS**T WRISTWATCH REVIEWS okay. Sometimes looking at their watches they almost have a plastic look to it. I think I just need to see them in person and make my decision from there.
@3691686 жыл бұрын
It's super important to see a watch in person. Feel in in your hands, how it looks on your wrist etc. another thing, I always try to look at the watch away from the bright lights that are always in jewelry stores. Those lights are meant to be enhancing, making everything look shinier, more blinghy, than in might be under normal lighting. Finally, Bauhaus styles either do it for you or don't. For me it's a chance of pace from my chronographs, divers, etc. it's like sometimes just wanting a ham and cheese sandwich instead of a sub with all the trimmings, sauces, etc. thanks for your imput
