The three of them are beautiful human beings and great teachers but the one I deeply resonate with is Adya, I'm really moved by him... I feel so much love for him ❤ just listening and feeling his spontaneous expression...his energy, body language, way of expressing himself.. makes me feel joyful and light hearted and with so much gratitude and devotion. He has such a pure smile and gaze, it feels so free, so alive , innocent and with a childlike quality 😊❤ I'm literally in love with him

God, we all can recognize an 'embodiment' of non duality because we are all that. In other words lean into your kindness and understanding instead of this superficial judgement (talking to you commentators on this sincere and lovely comment)... And before you jump on me I am doing it too, but at least, I hope, with compassion....

@@Misha0013 We're drawn to teachers and gurus because of what we recognize in them. And here's something I feel is important for every adult (and child) to know: Sarcasm (in the passive aggressive, caustic sense) is unbecoming, even with a smiley face.

Wow! What Adya says about the extremities of experience at around 45 minutes. I noticed recently that I was trying to hold up the experience to be a certain way, it was irritating and tiring, now I am only interested in seeing the lantern through the storm, allowing myself or my ego space and perhaps more importantly time, it is all under the gaze of presence, maybe I will not smile that much today, or notice such bliss in the simple things, there can be nothing in the way of my rest, not a things presence or its absence.

@@MichaelDamianPHD As the saying goes, “There’s more than one way to skin a cat.” You seem to think that Rupert has failed the “test” only because his Awakening was so unlike what you experienced. Wouldn’t surprise me if he has had a more enduring kind of realization than you have since your judgement of him wreaks of an ego tainted evaluation( as if declaring, well at least I had a direct Realization experience, certainly more authentic than what Rupert managed to attain”).

In enlightenment is more of evolving and letting go, where one slowly does not believe in the mind anymore, but yet uses the mind and remains as seeing presence,, fully functional & present in every situation, instead of believing in time, past and future, you know yourself as the supreme self a wave from the ocean.

I used to listen to Rupert Spira a lot and visited some of his retreats. My impression is, that he is always speaking from the source. I do resonate with all that he is saying. It is very profound, clear and on point. And I do agree with him, that enlightenment is the moment of realization of our true nature. It is part of or maybe initiates the process of Self-realization. But "enlightenment" ist exactly what he says, even if it is experienced and happens very individually for everyone. The feeling or recognition is the same in its essence. With deepest Gratitude, thank you so much for your guidance, Rupert. 🙏

Thank you for this conversation. I feel the main lesson I gleaned from this is that there are as many ways of being touched by the eternal as there are living beings. Thank you, Rupert for mentioning Eckhart Tolle. I would love to see a conversation between Rupert and Eckhart. If a teacher calls themself a teacher, are they really a teacher, or are they still fixed to their ego self? We are all one piece of the jigsaw puzzle. No one less nor more than the other. We are all unique examples of the one.

Why does it matter whether Rupert mentions Eckhart or not? Why is a conversation needed between this one or that one? Lastly the word teacher is simply a description and using it doesn't mean "attached to ego self." It all starts to sound rather superstitious doesn't it, when the mere use of a word means someone is totally unenlightened, etc etc.

I have so much love and respect for these teachers. They have brought so much clarity and wisdom to the world. I also include Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield in this mix. However, I think the question of climate change is a collective issue, and we are not all on the same page. Although spirituality and awareness needs to inform our decisions, we cannot wait for everyone to "wake up", or feel compelled to do something. Policy and political leadership needs to create a system that is self-sustaining and compel human beings to give up fossil fuels. The most recent summit on climate change shows the paradox, where the leadership is an executive of a large middle east old company. People need to see that we are on the Titanic.
