I have been listening to and interacting with teachers from Bob Thurman to Sailor Bob Adamson to Rupert Spira et al and I am convinced Swami Sarvapriyananda is the best of them. For MY purposes at least. And that's not to take away from any of the others because I truly enjoy and learn from each. He just has such a good rapport and ability to present simply. I feel so fortunate to have found these videos. Truly a boon! namaste

Osho introduced me Advaita 40 years back, and it gave me a new vision in life. I was born a Christian in India but found it, like the other 2 Abrihamic religions, supremisist in nature (only we are Gods chosen people). Advaita is universal and all inclusive. Stillness of mind is the path to Moksha.

can You please answer me , i have a question .. Whatever is an object of consiousness cannot be the you , because you can see it , there exists a distance . The Human eyes can see everything in this world , except themself so by that logic , no matter what I ( consiousness ) do , i'll never be able to experience / know myself !! because if i can experience / know myself , then that is not me !!

Swami Sarvapriyanandaji..it is one of the greatest teachings i have ever received. Before receiving this wonderful wisdom, I was believing that I am only a mind (with million years of karmic imprints) with a body (due to the karmic imprints). 1. Life is a mere series of experiences of the consciousness and we are not the experiences, but the witness of the experiences. 2. Each experience (object of) / thought is changing but awareness is not (subject) 3. In deep sleep, there is only an experience of absence (not absence of experience). 4. We have this world experience due t o the unchanging awareness which is nothing but MYSELF. It clears many doubts on the understanding of myself and the world around. I could not only imagine, but can visualise/ feel well that I am the unchanging consciousness/ awareness experiencing in my body and ever changing mind. Feel like touching your feet virtually. Kindly accept my virtual surrender to you and bless me for ever.. I am hope full of meeting you personally soon. Keen to practice practical methods to keep me awake with this knowledge for ever and overcome this worldly struggles though I feel like much relieved now with this invaluable knowledge.

The thorough understanding of Advaita Vedanta reflected in your comments is, in my opinion, the true surrender.

Namaskar to Swamiji. Condensed light is matter and rarified matter is light. The hand and light are made up of the same 'thing' if you go to the root of both. i may be interpreting wrongly but when we say all is one this is what is implied that it is the same energy and intelligence with different names and forms.(E=MC^2)

Swamiji explains nicely a difficult subject. How do one knows that one slept like a deadwood? Something that must be noticing that deadwoodness. That is the consciousness/awareness/Athman/self. It is like a screen in a cinema theatre where scenes come & go but the white screen is permanent like our consciousness on which all the events take place and disappear. Only by regular meditation can be experienced.

To me Advaita Vedanta is a dualistic tradition. It teaches this world is unreal and somehow separate and unreal from God. That is dualism. Trika Shaivism really teaches true oneness with the phsical world which is simply the Shakti of God, which is an expression of God and not unreal or separate. Pranam 🙏

Sat-Cit is providing the appearance of 'subject' to the subject-object awareness-experiencdynamic. Sat-Cit is discernable to mind/intellect as a contrast to the changing but Sat-Cit is not aware of 'otherness.' Brahman is not being freed, the mind is being freed from the illusion of independent selfness/suchness.
