This is legit, i used to have chronic edging syndrome i low key still do but i make space to meditate for atleast one hour everyday; no matter how much intense or consumed by it i may get. The only thing that i have to work on is to really catch myself before i merge with it otherwise i may loose the space for my meditation that day; when i do the inquiring path is one i take but it doesn’t really compare to actually having the attitude/discipline or the will to surrender and sit down.

Yeah totally! I’ve found that the best thing to do for all my addictions, etc. is to completely decline from engaging in the mental “game” of it all. When I start asking myself “should I [engage in xyz addiction]” and then continue to entertain that question (“masturbate or meditate?”) it’s like I’ve already ‘lost’. The mind will always choose the addiction because the mind itself is the addiction, you know? And the only real way out of that whole mental trap is to just live through the heart and ignore all the games that ego tries to play

Cool thing is that I have a vastly different non-spiritual approach to life, still feelings/emotions based tho, and can understand you. Just mind that making a choice is not always the best way to go, sometimes one does need time, it's often when this time becomes an escape from what needs to be done when problems arise.

I’ve seen you comment a few times and I honestly think you’re overcomplicating things. Just ask yourself: in this moment, right now, am I happy? If not, then find where that unhappiness is being expressed in your body - it’s usually some tension near the forehead or chest - and just sit with that physical sensation. For you, I’d recommend starting with that

It really seems to be the opposite. You are the Creator and therefore everything is exactly as you’ve chosen it to be. The only choice you don’t get to make is whether or not you’re the Creator 😅
