To hide the portals you can just brake the portal helper blocks and place whatever blocks you want. And for the size changing thing, you need the Pehkui mod.

Those portals are actually entities and you killed them. Ender portal actually is a one way portal. You also can rotate those portals and another mod allows to actually change gravity

You need to install the pehkui mod for size changes to work. And if you want gravity changes to work you need Gravity API installed.

btw to make the portals not have frames you just destroy the frames, it doesn't break the portals

What a nice primer presentation! It was fun to see you discover all this stuff. Please do even more of this, you can make some really trippy houses with this. Imagine going into a little shed, but then in truth you enter a huge mansion! I have made a multi episode tutorial series on my channel that can help you learn how to best do this even placing portals in a way so they lag less

You can make the infinite falling thing with the portal helper it doesn’t work with the nether portal because of the way the dimensions work with eachother The portal helper links 2 points the nether portal links 2 dimensions So it won’t work
