I feel as nonexistence is impossible because it's not comprehendible and we are what we perceive. In other words, I can't understand that state of being. That's one way you can look at it, but unfortunately we can comprehend the feeling of just darkness. You might not agree with me, but I wouldn't enjoy that either. It takes approximately 6-12 minutes for the brain to shut down after death and I think those 6-12 minutes are essential to our thoughts of what happens after death. This is due to the fact that you can be revived before your brain shuts down. So if someone could experience those 6-12 minutes for as long as possible and come back to life, we could get infinitesimally close to complete death. Whatever it is we could experience it. It's like anti differentiation or taking the limit. You can find something that appears impossible to find by experiencing something infinitesimally close to it. In my opinion, that's how we can draw accurate conclusions. Other solutions can include singularity, medicine that allows a human to live forever, new DNA from a Water Bear or something that's immortal. P.S sorry for being one of those comments.

Why can’t you? Non-existence cannot exist. Note the contradiction. If non-existence existed it would be existence! An apple may not have physically manifested as material, but may have physically manifested as a concept or in sleep dream. If the apple is in concept but not in material reality, then relative to material reality, the apple exists as non-existence. Yet this is all occurring within existence. An apple though could never occur in non-existence, because non existence does not contain the material, conceptual or sleep dream realms. It contains no realms, pure mu or nothingness. For example, its wrong to say a pink elephant existed as non-existence throughout this entire reading, because the elephant just manifested in the concept realm as soon as this paragraph was read. There was literally no pink elephant before. Therefore that non-existence cannot have any manifestation or form in actuality.

What is none existence? I'll wait. Is it darkness? Well no cause darkness is part of existence, let's go a bit deeper, is it a void? No cause a void has dimensions. Let's go all the way. An empty realm outside of space/time? Well no again cause the fact that you can define it as being an empty realm gives it a meaning so it's not absolute none existence.

I would say burning eternally in Hell would be a bigger fear for me than nothingness. I used to tell a beloved relative, Well if I'm going to Hell for not saying some magic words I sure hope it's the bottomless pit. Once you realize you aren't going to hit anything I imagine it would become like eternally skydiving and we'd get really good at acrobatics. I'd probably still be screaming for a thousand years or so... 🤔

Therefore, the idea of existence being caused or sourced by a state of non-existence is logically untenable. The absence of a preceding state of non-existence supports the proposition that existence has always existed and will always exist. You can sleep well now cause this disprove all God concept and separation👍

Also, I think the only reason that we do exist is because it is impossible to define nothing. I think the closest we can come is a point which is a thing of which there are no parts. If we were to consider the Flower of Life as existing and expanding infinitely inward as a process of division within the center point of the seed of Life separated by tetrahedra then we could imagine what the storm on the N. Pole of Saturn looks like without watching the video taken by Cassini and easily found on KZbin for consideration of how the Universe may be apparently organized. The first half page of Genesis would be a good caption. The hexagons reduce by a factor of phi and rotate 30° degrees and all of these hexagons' geometries are entirely determined by the center of circulation even the many vortices that appear to determine the geometry, as vertices and sides, that is adjacent to them because they themselves are directed by the center which is also not as adjacent as it appears because it's the center of the Universe, or I should say the apparent Universe. It's nice to have a place to give my points of view and observations without being interrupted or dismissed patronizingly as being corrupted by the delusions of others. All my information comes from other places and I can't take credit for it but I'm the one that puts the information together to appear as a delusion to others. this aspect of me( deepak chopra ) after my realizations in this body dimension form , is one that with such simplicity comes so close to what i am. consciousness is always conscious of itself and of all forms(aspects) with the same intensity .and the so called bad dreams are nothing more but the unconscious mental body accumulation that is 95 % or so in our being ...that manifest freely without the intereference of the mindset and limitations . regarding the non existence i had afew friends and once i felt myself something similar. we were experiencing something like a definitive death. my friend that now is no more in form , told me it was so hard to experience and have that feeling ...afew hours were like a neverending definitive death of the existence itself . or perhaps the existence itself has transformation and evolution too chopra . and perhaps there is experience even stronger and harder than death . that i as consciousness experience on other levels ,higher levels

I scare myself almost everyday thinking about the concept of non existence and one day my time will come to not exist. Then I see this and I get some type of brain spasm that makes me constantly hurt my soul on fearing something that apparently doesnt exist. (Or is impossible in his words)

Existence is easy to understand if you don’t use the dictionary definition as a way of understanding because it is incomplete. The dictionary definition of existence is founded in Materialism. The dictionary says: to live or to have objective reality is to exist. The state of having objective reality. The dictionary definition doesn’t include fundamental reality, which is all there is to reality.

Actually this is false. Nonexistence is not a "State" of being because it is non-being.. Existence is a State of being and therefore is being. It is the difference also between the concept of Zero = Non-Being which is neither positive or negative. . Being is either negative 1 or Being as positive 1 both the positive and negative are states of being but negative being cannot be positive being at the same time.
