Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma Patient Stories: How I Got Diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma (Video 1/3)

When I was diagnosed last month, I wasn't hearing what the doctor was telling me. I thought he was saying they thought I had Lymphoma, so I kept asking him when he would know for sure. He lent over and looked me in the eyes and said, you do have cancer. It was only then that I understood what he was saying. They also found a 6mm nodule in my lung, so I need another scan on Tuesday to make sure it has not grown since the last scan, but I am hopeful that, that will be fine and nothing to worry about. Our son is just six, and we have had to tell him about my diagnosis as I have been very fatigued these last few months, and for the first time since his birth he had to stay with my mother in law over night just to give me a break during the holidays.

I had follicular lymphoma and dflbcl and almost died from both but I beat them both I'm lucky to be here

Same thing happened to me 8 months after I lost my mom to lymphoma I was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma non Hodgkins. My dad is in remission from large b cell lymphoma. Thanks for sharing.
