Can I just say, I have never seen someone just… click with a group like you have. Everything you point out about ATZ is so accurate it’s kinda scary how much you just get them 😭 And your comment about ‘Siren’ being “the ATZ sound”, I believe they mentioned that ‘Siren’ was supposed to be the title track for the next album but added it to this one in the end! Looking forward to witnessing more of your journey in becoming an Atiny!

Actually Siren was almost the title track for their last album instead of Crazy Form and Blind was the song being considered for their next title track! They should bring back having two title tracks per album again cuz both would’ve been awesome title tracks lol

I mean, Hongjoong is a leader, singer, rapper, dancer, choreographer, composer (He composed more than 40 songs before the group's debut and + after their debut), lyrist, designer (clothing and MV), fashionista, producer (MV, album and performance), performer (one of the best to many professional performer) and guitarist. He is THE talent.

Could not have summed up/described Hongjoong better myself. My bias is Seonghwa but in truth they are all so uniquely talented. KQ took their time selecting and training Ateez and it shows. Go back to the beginning of their discography and you will find that Ateez just does not know how to put out a bad song/album. They can mix genres flawlessly. It’s also been said that they are Kings of the “anti-drop” and they are performance (live) kings.

Ateez are also known in Kpop for being some of the best dancers. Their dance practice videos are legendary. Seonghwa said that the Choreography for Work is some of their hardest ever. They had to make a simplified version so that their fans could do dance covers.

Their entire discography is worth checking imo, and golden hour is their 10th album (mini album but still). If you're liking Ateez it's definitely recommended to start from the very first album, so you can have a full understanding of their musical growth throughtout the years. This year marks their 6th anniversary so you have A TON of content to react to, but it's totally worth

They have SO many other albums XD save yourself. These boys never stop working. They bring out new music every like... 6 months or so. So this is their 10th mini album. Then there's some singles both korean and japanese singles (the japanese singles are amazing very strongly recommend checking those out too) And then they have 2 full albums under their belt as well. So there's... there's a lot of music. And it's almost impossible to pick a 'best album' cuz... man they're all bangers XD they just have a no-skip discography. Every album has these songs that I'd rate as 'one of the best' XD

The World series (Movement, Outlaw and Will) neeeeeeds a reaction. They’re the albums Guerrilla, Bouncy and Crazy Form are from, respectively. Especially the first two, they are such cohesive bodies of work, so cinematic in a musical sense. Definitely albums you need to experience in full and in chronological order.

They have a lot of intros to their albums that Maddox narrates. Dreamcatcher also has intros - which is a thing I just LOVE about their discographies (and appreciate from their producers - they have the same production team sans Eden/Hongjoong/Mingi who produce solely for ATEEZ out of the team). Yunho, San and Wooyoung are my favorite vocals in the group, but everyone has talent and versatility and Jongho is CRAZY talented! Hongjoong is an INSANE rapper, and he and Mingi also write their own raps, and they work on writing and producing their songs as well. As you go through their discography, you will find a lot more beautiful, soft vocals like Empty Box, they are so versatile. They are my ult boy group (Dreamcatcher is my ult girl group) - they came from such a small company and they worked so hard to get here - from the Sahara (where Treasure and Pirate King - their debut songs - were filmed) to the Sahara stage at Coachella. I am so proud of them! I am so happy you appreciate their talent too! They have a similar story to Dreamcatcher too (where they are from a very small company, were pretty unknown, had to fight to get on music shows, to finally having international recognition and the domestic audience is finally noticing them too). ATEEZ is arguably MUCH bigger than DC domestically and internationally, but I love that both of them not only have the same (ish) production team, and both are completely capable of doing literally ANYTHING! They are so talented and so versatile and so hard working, both groups deserve everything under the sun FR. They are coming to Europe in 2025, I hope you get to go see them!

Ateez have diverse discography, they got songs for everyone! Since you liked Empty box, I'll suggest the following: Turbulence (MV) Inception (MV) Utopia (MV) Live performances: Take me home, Not too late, fever, sunrise, Be with you, The letter, One day at a time, Star 1117, Mist, Light, still here, blue summer. I want to suggest New World too, but idk what to call that genre, it's powerful but it makes me overwhelmed too in different way. These are some of their songs i cry to. The song Empty box really surprised me. It's amazing. I usually like their upbeat and powerful songs better but this song is so beautiful and soothing to listen to. And the lyrics... Might be one of my favorite Ateezsongs ❤

Their mini albums usually come in series of 3 like Treasure ep 1, ep 2, ep 3. The world ep 1 ep 2 ep fin etc. I'm assuming it'll be the same for Golden hour. It'll be a 3 piece series.

They usually release their albums in series. Normally 3 episodes or 3 parts, sometimes they also release an "epilogue" episode after a series of albums (e.g. the world series is composed by ep. 1, 2 and final)

I've been listening to kpop for 2 decades and it took until Ateez for me to become a stan and pouring my money into them and just rooting for their success and celebrating their every win and hoping they would eventually have the support of the whole world behind them

if you loved empty box this much i recommend you listen to Not Too Late its sooo good and has beautiful harmonies in the back !!! its on the Fever Part 3 Album and one of my favorite softer bsides. My fav album is the world ep. 2: Outlaw tho, thats where bouncy is from you should check it out too!!

Great news! They have been performing Empty Box live on music shows as they promote Work so plenty of people will get to hear it. If you like slower, more melancholy songs I reccomend Turbulence and Not Too Late

Both albums are very cohesive and cinematic, they were strongly influenced by Muse in the production and overall they’re just incredible albums. I’m looking forward to your next reactions!
