Originally the group had 12 members - 4 Chinese, 8 Korean. 6 members (4 Chinese, 2 Korean) were a subunit called EXO-M, who sang songs in Mandarin Chinese, and the other 6 Korean members were a subunit called EXO-K, who sang songs in Korean. When performing together they'd just be called EXO. Unfortunately, three of the Chinese members have since left, so EXO only has 9 members (1 less than when they recorded this Call Me Baby MV).

Ohhhhh EXO... So many fantastic things to watch from EXO :D Like others have suggested, Growl is a necessity if you're talking about EXO. That is their definitive number, and the most well known song they have ever done. I'm honestly surprised you didn't start with Growl because that's how most people first discover them. I would also suggest watching Overdose, Love Me Right, MAMA (Korean), History (Mandarin), for all are fantastic numbers that really show off their range of musical styles, dance, vocals and rapping. If you're still not tired out by them after all that, check out their Debut Teasers, Wolf, and footage from The Lost Planet and EXO'luXion concerts. A little bit about them: They debuted in 2012 with 12 members: 6 in EXO-K (perform songs in Korean, all members native Korean) and 6 in EXO-M (perform songs in Mandarin, 4 native Chinese and 2 Korean members). As of now, 3 members (all from EXO-M and Chinese) have left and filed lawsuits with EXO's management company, SM Entertainment. So as of right now, EXO-K is still 6 man, and EXO-M is 3 man (1 Chinese and two Korean), totaling to 9 active members. Despite the drama involved with the lawsuits and loss of members, they are still kicking ass and taking names in the K-pop world and internationally. They are the 5th boygroup in the world for total physical album sales in 2015 (so far). A official Japanese single is scheduled to drop later this year, launching them to officially debut in Japan. And your guess about how they "must be super popular with girls?" Understatement: their official fan club, EXO-L, has over 3.4 million members ranging in gender, age, and nationality. I don't know if anyone in the comments (I did a brief skim and it just seemed like song recommendations) mentioned but the reason it's so popular isn't just b/c they're reaching out for Western views. They typically will do their songs (this is about all Kpop artists not just Exo) in Chinese and other Asian languages. The groups really put their all into it learning multiple languages, dancing, videos, etc. I can't even imagine. It's the fact that they do so much hard work that they get such dedicated fans.

I recommend SHINee, one of the most popular boy groups in KPop. They are a five member band debuted in 2008 under SM Entertainment, the same company with EXO. They are known for their incredible dance choreography, various genre of music and live performances. Their lives are like straight from CDs, sometimes even better. That's how they are given the nickname CDNee. All of their songs are good, you can pick any to start with. I would suggest "Sherlock", "Lucifer", "Everybody", "Dream Girl" and "View".

Exo is one of the biggest boy band groups in Korea and all around the world. Basically they stared off with 12 members. They divided them into 2 subgroups; one that promotes in Korean and the other promotes in Mandarin. The group that promotes in Mandarin consists of 4 Chinese and 2 Korean members. Unfortunately, 3 Chinese members left the band leaving only 1 Chinese person left in the group. Now exo has only 9 members :( . The fandom is called Exo -Ls because the L is the letter that is in between K (Korean) and M ( Mandarin). Exo fans are very powerful and dedicated and some are very feisty ( rude lol) The leader of this group is called Suho, the main dancer is Kai (my bae) , the main rapper is Chanyeol and main vocals is divided between Baekhyun, D.O and Chen. Kris ( the first Chinese member to leave EXO) is Canadian so his English was really good. Now I've basically summarized to you guys the general information about EXO. Hope this helps!!

You might know by now, but they used to have 12 members. Two in the Chinese subgroup, Kris and Luhan. Luhan is more active musically than Kris ( Lu, That Good Good are some suggestions). And Tao( the tall blonde one also from the Chinese group) has left them as well. He has a solo career as well.
