Thanks Bosco. This video was really helpful and helped me get the courage to try sounds instead of blaming everything on the tech. Shame on me! Congratulations on successfully making something. I have 1 of these: learning the basics of how to use this will take much longer than 10 minutes. If the electrospit isn't positioned correctly then no voice sound will come out of the speaker, you'll spend alot of time trying to figure how to position the electrospit

Yes, it is indeed more difficult than expected. Also setting up the mic is imortant. Hard enough, but no feedback, etc.

How do you hook it all up? right now i tried hooking it up to the output of a keyboard and only get the keyboard sound from the electrospit while trying to mouth words. Please more in depth of how i can hook it up to a keyboard, and/or just the ipad. Also, how does the microphone come into play?? Do i need a microphone??

I know in the video he says you don't need a microphone but truly think about it...what other way is there to record? The Quick Start Guide recommends a dynamic mic as well (not a condenser mic). Good luck J. Harbal!

You def need a microphone when you're actually recording your performance to your DAW. I think he's just trying to say you can use it without a Mic when you're just trying to work out ideas or just freestyling or whatever.

Maybe? Lol. It still requires skill to do though. Instead of doing vocal runs, people who cant sing, but can play guitars or keyboards just do the runs on their instruments. The original intent of talkboxes was just to have another cool guitar effect though.
