Yuki nakai was a beast when he did kosen judo and hhad a mma record of over 18 and 3 record before he went to master bjj now he teaches both systems. Amazing guy.

Buchard fights that way against Abe and Ai Shishime a lot. Basically grip fighting aggressively and trying to force stalling calls. She's much more impressive against other international players.

@@johnjackson4585 I felt that a lot of Buchard's attacks on Abe were just attempts at getting Abe penalised for stalling. It seemed like that was the strategy of some of Abe's opponents today.

Bilodid looked very tired in the finals .you were absolutely right with her fitness issues. Would a fitter bilodid have won against tonaki in the semi finals?

Fitness was a factor, but I think the other women have worked out her weaknesses. None of her matches were easy. I don't think she will do well when she moves up to 52 kilos.

Can I ask you a question ? If you were fighting against Abe Uta, what tactics would you use to win her ?

What makes her dangerous is that she only needs a grip of her opponent's right sleeve to dominate them. Even if opponents avoid their sleeve being grabbed she still has plenty of throws she can do without that grip. Obviously Natsumi Tsunoda beat her with tomoenage and jujigatame, but there are no other women that have such an effective tomoenage.
