This is so amazing. I remember when my daughter started talking who is also on the spectrum. One of her first "words" was a sentence "I love you" and even tho I don't think she knew the meaning it was one of the best moment of my life. Jacob talking a few words is exactly how it started for my daughter too !! So happy for you guys.

Tuna! You are doing so well Jacob. Such a clever boy. All your KZbin friends are so proud of you! I remember not long ago we were worried if our son would say more than two words together, or would he be understood, and now he chats away all the time😄. Our little ones love to surprise us, don't they?

Lolz the last word he said was “bye” lolz which was incredibly cute and I’m so proud of y’all! Keep up the good work! My husband’s cousin didn’t start talking up a storm at all til he was in kindergarten… he now works for the sanitation union on Long Island in New York. I was talking in full sentences by 18 months and I was in special education with diagnosis of “ADD” (because it was the 80s and they handed out that diagnosis with Ritalin like it was candy) now called “ADHD-I” but my 18 month old only babbles mamama dadadada and really only word associates with the word and color “blue” which my child only says “bllll”… I have no problem with early intervention… but I’m never going to allow any doctor to document a diagnosis of anything that will make it harder for my child(ren) to get jobs let alone join the US military if they wanted to. They almost kicked me out of Bootcamp because of my ADD diagnosis which would have ruined my entire life. But I had to literally get on my knees and beg them to give me a chance… and if it hadn’t been just after 9/11… I don’t know if they would have given it to me. I graduated Bootcamp and my corpsman A school and helped save countless lives during my military and civilian career. I just want to caution people when doing all this with their kids… I’ve met people who have been diagnosed with autism that don’t believe they are even autistic and now they can’t get jobs much less join the US military… and some even believe that they only got the diagnosis because one or more of their parents they feel have something like munchausen by proxy which I believe my mother has because she literally loves the attention she gets from my diagnosis. Especially when it comes to the internet… I understand raising awareness, but there’s a fine line that we need to be careful with about all this because my mother literally victimizes herself in my life traumas of child abuse, how I was molested, as well as how she “advocated” and pushed hard for my IEP…. Which I’m not saying wasn’t put to good use, but why does she have to get all the attention for all this… and I’m looked at as the one with “problems”. I’ve lost friends, people don’t talk to me, and it’s all because of what she says about me… I’m not saying this is all parents, but if mines doing it, I can’t be the only one this is happening to. Please be careful with what you do and say about your children… especially on the internet, because someday they may see this, and get upset at you be it to your face or kept inside like I mostly do with my mom for basically making mountains out of mole hills like she’s accused others of doing all the time, so I can only imagine what she says about me. Again y’all are doing an awesome job with your kids! Keep up the good works! I’m proud of y’all!

I love your channel. It has taught me so much about Autism. My 3 year old has been sorta diagnosed. It is frustrating cause in Florida there are a ton of hoops you have to jump through just to get seen. But he can't talk very well and has absent seizure and the sensory issues are big. He also has to have things done the same way all the time and anything changes he has a meltdown. Sound is very hard for him like thunder or fireworks. But he loves music and acts out movies and loves to jump lately. If you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it. I just know in the United States it is a waiting game for help and a long waiting list. I love your family and keep sending out these great videos. I also have anxiety and depression and PTSD. So sometimes I truly know how you feel. For me I cuddle my therapy dog or try to draw and do crafts when I can.

Any victory is a victory! There are no “small” victories! I love hearing his sweet voice! I’m Autistic and an adult and I am obsessed with water. I think it’s a really common sensory thing. Anything to do with water. I have a scrub brush that I love scrubbing my hands, and brushing my teeth which I just recently found that using the tongue scrubbing part of the toothbrush is really calming for me. I will sit with a cup of ice cold water and just dip in my brush and scrub my tongue 😂 I am glad people can’t see me through the window I think I probably look like a complete nutter. But I don’t care because it helps me! Your family pictures are absolutely beautiful! Tuna 🤢 haha. Love hearing Jacob say tuna but I can’t stand being in the same room with someone who has opened up tuna 😆 j

Did you start feeding him more unprocessed meat? There's something called the gaps diet that heals the gut and they say that gets people to become healthy. Children start talking they say. I tried it on my son but he's such a picky eater he was good for one week and I reverted back to the regular diet.
