I talk a bit about my experience working with VFX artists and making some rudimentary visual effects for short films and KZbin skits.

im a huge fan of the corridor guys. i totally get the "youre just one of the guys with them" feeling. they also are the reason why i appreciate the filmmaking aspects (both with the vfx and the stuntmen reacts) much more. im not a fan of "make it r-rated" series but thats just my tastes at that point. their short films are on point though.

Holden, if it means anything to you, I get the same "Hanging out with the guys" vibe from your channel that I get from Corridor. You do a great job making the atmosphere of your videos really inviting and you interact with us as if we're there instead of just being a camera. (Even down to the winks and nods when we know something but your "guest/co-host?" doesn't.)

Holden I’m glad you mentioned the camaraderie aspect of their videos there’s is not a channel that I subscribe to but that’s the feeling that I got from yours particularly the my friend watches series. When Covid hit I was working from home and not as much interaction with other people as I’m used to having. Your videos and the way you achieve that camaraderie aspect made me feel like I was sitting there with my friends. It definitely helped and thank you.

Stick with blender it’s actually quite intuitive I started learning last year and already entered a Star Wars fan film contest. Peter France from corridor did a fantastic 3 part tutorial for a Spider-Man sequence I think you’d love.

YO. I've been watching Corridor for years, and now Im watching another favourite youtuber react to another favourite channel. I would say that Corridor kinda inspired me to do dive into CGI shorts. I'm attempting to make a 3d animated Star Wars fan film. And it is difficult, but corridor makes it a bit easier. Corridor, blenderGuru and many others. And I've been learning cg since 2016

They touch on movement and weight in a bunch of videos but one thats really cool is them talking about Pacific Rim and how the mechs move soooo slowly to portray scale. It looks incredible, even more so after hearing them talk about it.

2:28 great render . I few tips on the Camera setting you have a some limits on the viewport that can be enable so you can frame things better. Also you can always the denoiser on the render setting or maybe a few more samples to look it more clean , not to mention on the compsite window you can use the DEnoiser / HDRI node to look it even less noisy .

the second mirrors edge game still looks amazing now. but that game really felt like free-running whereas the first was jank and you even get a sick grappling hook. check out someone doing a speed run with the advanced moments while playing mirrors edge catalyst. it made me wish there were a new decent prince of persia game out and not the reskin of the first ps2 one.
