I made the stuffing for our holiday turkeys with my grandmother, side by side. The process began 3 days in advance turning the torn bread pieces over and over in a giant roasting pan to dry it out. To this day, I know how much butter to work into the stuffing by the feel of it. She would squeeze a bit of it in her hand and show me how well it should hold together, not too dry, not too wet. You can't learn that in a cookbook. ❤️ Can't wait to try this recipe.
