Great video, and I can relate to it so well, it took me 4yrs of studying and loosing money before I became a consistent profitable trader. I've now developed a very simple strategy (nothing complicated) that I stick to religiously, along side that I have a 7 rule checklist, I must tick off every rule before I enter the trade, if I can't tick all 7 I simply do not trade. Having this discipline is the only reason I now make money.

What you are telling them here is pure gold. The problem is not whether they listen to you, the problem is whether they can get themselves to chill. One of the greatest stock operators of all time, Jesse Livermore, admitted that what really made him his money was the sitting, meaning, sitting on his hands on a profitable position, or, sitting waiting not just for an opportunity, but for exactly the right one.

I love this video, I’m one of the few traders who has been blowing accounts left and right but, has been slowed down because of the learning experiences, and in that it self is an improvement! Never once I thought about quitting, all of my so called “friends” had lost money and quit the first 3 months. Than the weak minded was weeded out after a year, I’m going 2 years strong but still learning. All of them, even my family are still stating to me “yOuR sTiLl On ThAt FoReX tHiNg?” And I gladly say yes with a confident grin :) I know very soon when they see the success I have with forex, they will all fall to the “congrats”, “can you show me?” “I knew you could do it”. Unfortunately, lazy minded, weak minded non-successful minded ppl will want to take your spot light and pretend to be there with you. Lesson learned is, when someone actually goes through the struggle with you, ups and downs, they are truly a friend

Wow, the first 10-15 minutes of this video really hit home for me. It took me two entire years trading, researching, and believing it would eventually be worth it before I could actually prove that it was worth it with real profit. It was not easy at all over the course of that time to keep with it, but for whatever reason I didn't see giving up as a choice. In too deep mentality I suppose. Anyway, you nailed the psychology that accompanied my journey, and you outlined some important concepts concerning the human spirit, and the psychology of potentially hopeless persistence that span well beyond trading. I had seen a few of your videos prior, but this is the one that really gained my respect for you.

I'm patient enough to put in the hard work, and I'm ready for the hard times to come. Those things won't stop me because I've done harder things in my life. With that being said, I don't believe it will take me that long. Perhaps I'm being extremely optimistic and I can tell you speak from experience, I can hear it in your voice and I trust your words. Even still, I not only have hope, but I spend hours and hours, at times my whole day practicing, back testing, trying to perfect an algorithm. My goal isn't to be dubbed a professional Forex trader. Trading to me is a way out of a bad and stagnant past to a prosperous future where my real dreams can come true, and I can finally help people and the world. That is what matters to me the most, not money, nor notoriety, but bringing forth positive change in people's lives. That is why I thank you for doing what you do. I gave it my all trading the traditional way, and it just wasn't working, I was fed fluff and I didn't even know it. If I never clicked on your video, just imagine where I would be, or would have been in the future. Crazier yet, imagine if you never made the video :( .Funny how life choices work. Good morning VP ! Most people focus on thecnical analisys and entries for the wrong reasons , they do it to avoid losing at all costs which is unavoidable because losing trades are always going to happen , they end up thinking that if they can learn everything about the market they can avoid the risk, that is why psychology is so important as reasons are important in our life! BTW I love that song from the gun's and roses! THANK YOU very much I agree 100% with you about everything in this video! For the past year and half I've been playing the long game with a small REAL money account, currently up 51.74% and I can prove it, from Myfxbook: How many trades were won? Won 55 out of 66 trades, which represents 83%. Lost 11 out of 66 trades, which represents 17%. Total winning Pips: 6955.6 and I'm here to tell you I'm not ready to trade OPM, maybe in another year to two...I totally agree the long game, it will let you sleep at night and have plenty of time for your family and friends...keep the videos coming...thanks for confirmation the long game.
