God that bass reminds me so much of Iowa by Slipknot. It’s got that creepy undertone to it that carries you till the end. The drums come in at the perfect time to really lift the bass tone out of the dark atmosphere. Really like this dude! Drop A# sounds so good on bass.

He doesn't. He used a whammy pedal which drops the tuning down an octave to do the bass. He's done it on other covers before.

^^What he said. 😉 One of these days I will get a legit bass rig but until then, the drop tune pedal will have to do. I wouldn't normally do a song like this since it's all bass but since it's a part of the album cover I'm doing, I didn't want to skip it entirely. I've recorded the bass like this in some past collab covers I did since we couldn't find a bassist to come on board so I just started recorded the bass lines on the whammy pedal. It works... kinda😆

I was wondering where the bass was!?! The guitar has the sound of a bass but I didn't understand how. A pedal that turns the guitar into bass, cool!! If you buy a legit bass rig does this mean you also buy a bass? 😊
