That one ring changed his entire legacy for the better, from a top 30-40 player of all time to possibly a top 15. Not bad
@colossalko2 ай бұрын
If you think dirk nowitzki is a top 15 player all time, you shouldn't have any basketball opinions. As A PF, by far the least deep position in the NBA, you could make the case he's borderline top 5. That places him around the top 25 at best. And then you got active guys like Giannis (who will probably pass him) and AD (who is arguably better when you take into account his defense). Basketball fans like to disrespect Dirk. But you don't have to overcompensate in the other direction.

I remember when I watched the Dallas Mavericks win their first-ever NBA championship that year. I knew the Mavs were gonna dominate the Finals and win it all. The team had several veteran players who played crucial roles. Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, Tyson Chandler, Peja Stojaković, Brendan Haywood, Brian Cardinal and Jason Terry were all key contributors, and their experience was a significant factor in their success. Those guys were 30 years old or older. They won their only NBA title as the oldest team in the league.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀
