Belichik’s only 19 wins away from breaking Shula’s record at 71 he’s got 3 more years left in him, but he can break that record especially now that the league has 17 game season. During a good chunk of Shula’s career, the league had 14 game seasons, that’s why his achievement is quite remarkable. Other records unlikely to be broken are Tom Brady 22 seasons as an effective starter, 7 Super Bowls, 10 Super Bowl appearances. Bill Belichik winning coach of 6 Super Bowls, 9 Super Bowl appearances. The only active player close to where Tom Brady is, is Patrick Mahommes 2 Super Bowls and 3 Super Bowl appearances, he’s still young, but we don’t know how long he’ll play.

Okay, lets look at thier first 10 seasons and do some basic math. Emmitt Smith rushed for 13,963 with a top 3 all-time Offensive line as well as Moose blocking for him. Barry Sanders rushed for 15,269 yards with a one or two good offensive lineman spread out separately throughout his career. Who's really the better back, and it took Emmitt 15 years to get a tad over 3,000 yards more than Barry got in 10.

2021-22 Postseason Update: As of Super Bowl LVI (SB56), Bill only needs 26 more wins to tie the record, and unless Mac Jones ends up being a one-year wonder, Bill will probably break it with 3 or 4 more seasons. I think Shula's record of 347 wins (regular season plus post season) could easily be broken by Bill Belichick if he coaches at least two more seasons. He already has 329 under his belt if you add his 298 regular season victories to his 31 playoff victories. Belichick could exceed Shula's regular season total of 328 if he coaches an additional 3-4 seasons. Despite the devaluation of the running game with the uptick of passing, I don't think the game has changed that much so that Eric Dickerson's single season record of 2105 yards is out of reach. Derrick Henry was reasonably close in a 16 game schedule in 2020 and Adrian Peterson was only eight yards short in 2012. In the near future schedules will be 17 or even 18 games.

Krause wasn't grabbing and pulling at receivers for the majority of his picks. He was a student of the game, understood his angles, what the offense was trying to do, and had deceptive closing speed to meet the ball, not the receiver. Only other guy on his level was Lane.

AP ran for 2,097 yards which is 8 yards short of Dickerson's 2,105 which is what was said in the video. What about Jamal Lewis who ran for 2,066 which was better than Chris Johnson? Remember that?

You're pronouncing record and recorded incorrectly. the verb is pronounced with a long E sound as in Reecord and Reecorded, it sounds really weird when you say it with the short e @3:29 you said "smith would record x number of yards..." and it sounds ridiculous with the short e sound used when you mean it in the verb form. The short E is used when you use record as a noun, such as in the sentence "He beat the record."

Is it possible to be free of the me, which produces all this chaos outwardly and inwardly? Can thought end so thought has no future? That which ends then has a totally different beginning not the beginning of the me, ending and picking up later.
