Just because you think that you are a good person which you are not because none of us are, only God is good and everyone has broken God’s moral laws, that is why Jesus Christ who is God in the flesh died for our sins and rose to life on the third day and those that repent and put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ will have their sins forgiven and have eternal life!! Religion is the true great divider of humanity, and has taken more lives than any other cause. It is our fear of death that allows any religion to exist, period. We live, and then it goes back to like before we were born. Nothing. Over. Done. And yes, that sucks, but I don't remember being worried before I was born so it'll all sort itself out. :)

I think religion was originally invented to explain natural phenomenon like the sun and weather. However once more and more people became civilized religion evolved into somewhat of a law book. Telling why you should or shouldn't do things. Religion is just something to keep the population in line

thank you for the video, both of you are wonderful. Actually, with Christianity everything he said was true but the one thing that no one brings up is free will. The only act of free will is to love God or not. Take care

But your God is also supposed to be all knowing which then means free will isn't a thing.

@@YetiUprising that argument doesn’t make sense. I can know someone is about to steal something and do nothing to stop them. Just because you know what someone is going to do doesn’t mean you are controlling them

If you do not have free will G-D doesn't love you. Not anymore than you love the Sims you play with. A Loving god, with free will will give you laws that work with the nature of reality. If they came from your god does not matter. Basically It will do just enough acts so the group it chose got the laws good and settle in. After those laws were internalized... Or rather, their meaning was. Then G-d pulls back, and see if his people maintain. I.E. A world with No god. Will look the same, as one with a Loving god.

@@salemlitt6934 the error in that logic is that no one can KNOW anything until it happens. What you are doing in this example is making assumptions or possibly using past experiences to form a hypothesis about what's going to happen.

@@YetiUprising I don’t quite understand what you were saying. All I’m saying is God can know someone is going to make a bad decision and he can still let them do that.

I have been a Christian since my teens and I judge nobody. It is not my right. Religion by it's very nature separates people And we created it...not God.. Don't get me started on denominations. God created ALL of us in His image. But we think we know better. It is to laugh.

Loved the reaction! I let religion go when I started to take an objective, logical look at certain concepts. Bill touched on a good one with the concept of free will. If God is all knowing and I have free will then he knows all the choices I’m going to make. So if the result of those choices is I wind up in hell for eternity, why would God bother to even make me?! You made me, knowing what I was gonna choose, just for me to be tortured for eternity?! Either God is not all knowing or he’s a total d**k! Lol Anyway, I really enjoyed your video.

Yeah but that's the thing... Religion is not *made* for that. I'm religious, but never take religious stories seriously. However religion is the best tool for meditation, prayers, and the best antidote to western materialism. Also keep in mind the following. Since Man replaced God with himself, he invented even worst ideologies !
