Absolutely amazing video; the edit of blurring the feet was top notch! :D I love that you went through cheap, standard, and more expensive options and whether it was really needed. The audio section is so true. And even *after* a reboot, it still might not work because your audio driver\software may have updated completely changing how it is seen in OBS. Great tips. Can you share what stream deck apps you’re using and how you configure the stream deck ? I struggle with that the most. I’ve got one but totally lost with the best way to make it work for content

For the most part you brought up a lot of great points, but I have a couple of points of contention. Firstly a mirrorless camera with lens can be had for less than $1k, also getting a camera and lens second hand from a reputable reseller can also be a good way to save cash, so you can still have a quality camera option. Even some some compact camera options like the Sony ZV-1F can be used for a webcam. Obviously as you said, depending on what your doing the webcam may be the better option, but those wanting a mirrorless can be found for a reasonable price if your patient with your search. Second thing is the audio portion, although, nvidia broadcast can help tremendously, picking the right microphone from the get go can also help deal with crappy room acoustics like echoes, reflections, reverbs, etc,. A dynamic microphone would be a better choice to use than a condenser microphone in those situations, since condenser mics pick any and all noise. Also, the Shure SM7B is a good mic but there are also lots of great options for budget mics some examples being: Shure SM57/58, Sennheiser E835, Audio Technica ATM650, Rode PodMic, and more. The audio interface can be a simple plug and play unit like the Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Audient EVO 4, M-Audio M-Track Duo, Behringer U-Phoria UM2, etc,. You don't really need a fancy mixer or anything to grab audio. I bring up all these points because these offer something that the usb options do not, versatility. I'm not an expert or anything and I'm still learning all this, but at the end of it all people should do their do diligence, do their research and see which options would work best for their setups.

Little mistake when showing comparison between 1080-60, 720-60 and 1080-30 when showing stardew valley in the end, it still says 1080-60 instead of 30. Great tips for a new streamer, actually modified a few settings myself!

You missed 1664x936 60fps It can make a huge difference to 1080p on twitch Same goes for 48fps instead of 60

The twitch bandwidth part isnt completely true. Even as a non partner or affiliate you can go higher than 6000. The stream will show as unstable on your twitch mod view but still have perfect output until you reach your actual cap afterwhich your bandwidth gets reduced to 3500 iirc. If pushed too high the stream doesnt run at all. I run mine at a cbr of 7000

It can be a little tricky to set up, but with how much better modern tech is at encoding I don’t feel like it’s needed as much anymore and I’m seeing it less and less!

Unless you changing your voice I would not use Voicemod, if you want you can use Steelseries Sonar it works with any mic just have to create a free account and you separate your game and mic with eq and a great noise suppression just to name a few.
