I feel like the next animal crossing game needs to add something like the GTS in pokemon, and just have an in-game system that lets you offer and trade items within the game itself. What are we gonna do if Tom N- Bezos decides to sell or close Nookazon?

The social aspect of something like nookazon just feels so much better than just going to a treasure island :x The only annoying thing is how slow he whole process is of connecting to the internet, flying to the other players island etc. i hope the next game is more smooth in that regard!

I really hope that they focus on multiplayer for the next game! The community really came together using Nookazon in 2020, and it'd be really cool to see something like Nookazon baked into the next game. (also that 'clap' at the beginning caught me off-guard LOL)

I’m just now getting back into the game after being largely MIA for a couple years due to being busy with school. I’d check in here and there for events and holidays and to make sure my island wasn’t overrun with weeds and that my villagers were ok, but I’d also largely hit a wall as far as creativity goes. My island was completed except for the rock mine that I couldn’t figure out how to complete and my hotel. I’m happy to say that after being. Ask for the last month or so that I’ve completed both areas and have a renewed sense of creativity and motivation for the game! I’ve been able to utilize Nookazon and get the things I need. I use to rely more on Discord or Reddit but I’ve become rusty as to how those work and find that Nookazon is much easier to navigate. I’m grateful that there are still players who utilize it as well so that we can all continue to make progress on our islands.

Paid users on nookazon, the few that are left, are commonly allowed to harass and cause problems for non paid users and the nookazon admin team defends them. I had a girl come to my island to trade for something, and after the trade she asked if i had fossils and started running off. I ended communications, since the trade was done and fossils were not a part of my offer. She left a bad review, saying i was scamming her etc etc. When i reported the incident, she was deemed as having proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that i scammed her, so her review stood and my reply was taken down. She was a paid user :/

I already did 100% completion of this game. Nookazon used to be my go to, but I switched to treasure island livestreams instead because it was more convenient and faster to get stuff on.

Current Nookazon user here, I love this video! My two cents about the "Were 10 NMTs too low?" is that the value of any item or service depends on the average Nookazon price (you can check both currencies, aka Bells and NMTs), which is shown on the item page, it's a good rule of thumb to check it out before sending any offers. Whenever I have a DIY or a piece of furniture I wanna sell/buy, I usually adjust within that value. Some users are more strict than others when it comes to pricing because of that, but overall the community is still a welcoming place - maybe a bit smaller than it used to be, but it's there. 💗

I've been only using it again for the past week and except for one guy who seemed new and tried to confuse me with dropping different amount of bell bags, everyone else was really lovely. Trades are much slower than back in the days but if you just want to get rid of some stuff while also making a few more bells, it's still perfect.

I still use nookazon all the time, because I prefer not to use treasure islands But the biggest problem in my opinion is the insane amount of bots, it makes it so hard to find actual new listings

I just re-set my island earlier this month! I've never actually played ACNH during the Halloween event so I'm excited to do that this year. At first I was pretty sad, realizing that my island is for my eyes only and most likely no one will see it. Then I realized my capture card still works so I force my friends on Discord to see my island >:) I definitely miss nookazon. The economy isn't the same. There was SOOO much accomplishment when you finally got the item you wanted and looked for. It's kind of a sad cycle? Treasure Islands kind of ruined Nookazon but now that Nookazon is pretty dead it feels like treasure islands are the only option... especially if you don't have friends who play the game! However when I go to a treasure island discord or the twitch lives it does give me hope to see how many people are still playing the game!! Those treasure islands are always full XD

Nookazon update as of yesterday. I was able to sell my turnips for 458 bells on some stranger’s island. Trying to find items to purchase or villagers though was too difficult. A lot of bots giving stuff away for “free” that reeked of a scam. Nookazon is still alive, but you really have to spend some time digging on there and be careful. It’s turned a little shady like a dying mall that has lost its anchor stores and the remaining tenants are small businesses you have never heard of before.

I just picked the game up again after basically ignoring it for 3 years and I am just happy it gives me a relaxed, cozy morning routine while being pregnant and often to sick to do much more during morning time. Sadly non of my friends play anymore and I am to skittish to visit strangers but regardless off and if I can get all the items I am just happy I get to play something soft and stressfree. My hopes for a new game would be the same, warm vibe and maybe easier ways to get items and trade than having to go visit folks you never met before.
