If you are buying a billet block you are buying quality and HIGHLY unlikely to sling a rod. Hell most of us without billet that make 800+ dont sling rods to begin with.

You'd have to contact Noonan for the exact weight info, but their billet V8 blocks weigh around 120-lbs. This would be a very light block. The price is $8,500 for the block only.
