Today I just bought a 2023 Suzuki Bergman. Haven’t ridden a motorcycle in. Over 20 years. Nervous getting back to it driving around the dealership parking lot. Going to have to start slow in the neighborhood. Won’t attempt the highway for a while. But happy with my purchase now that the weather is getting warmer.

They still make the 400, it is the 650 that they stopped making/importing. I love my 400, ride it almost daily.

I have a 2023 400 and I can't get above 82 mph with my tall windshield?,
@jamesknight39925 ай бұрын
@@jasontomica8938 I too own a 2023 Burgman 400 and 82 is my top speed but not sustainable. Encountering an incline will impact speeds over 75 mph. Between 70 and 75 is a comfortable range for highway speeds.
@jasontomica89385 ай бұрын
@jamesknight3992 But to be honest with you, the top speed doesn't really matter. Once you go over 75 Miles an hour, the gas range just starts to go down pretty crazy, especially when you get near 80 Miles an hour. I feel like 65 to 70 is the perfect sweet spot.
@jasontomica89385 ай бұрын
And also the wind going much faster? The wind just becomes much more unbearable. I'm used to a car so totally 2 different vehicles. They both get you there, but a car. Obviously is luxury compared to a motorcycle? No wind issues, no weather issues. No nothing and u don't have to wear a helmet all day
@saulocpp2 ай бұрын
@@jasontomica8938 You have to remap the ECU, then it will go faster. Actually the biggest benefit is the increase in torque.

Burgman 650 is the smoothest engine I ever felt from Goldwings 1100,1200,1800 and BMWs 650, 1150, 1200. I wished they made a motorcycles based on the B650 engine.

Where you have any DOT reflectors, if you buy small pod lights for motorcycle they can screw right into them. Or if you have any factory mounted hardware on both sides. That's what I did. I like how they turn at slow speeds unlike the headlights. The potholes are crazy around where I live. And I have to ride home at night.

Thank you for this Video. I've been thinking about Kymco X-Roads 300i but the videos say it struggles at 60 mph and over. SO now I'm looking at the Burgman 400. I have a freind that has one far sale. Maybe I can get a good deal.

My Yamaha Smax 155cc will run circles around the Xt250 i used to ride.I got rid of the Xt250 because it couldn't maintain 55mph even on a slight grade and all the cars behind me would try and run me over. Even the smaller scooters seem to way outperform the same-size motorcycle

I have new superbike collection both euro and japanese models(euro bikes better than japanese in every aspect now thats why they have won every comparison for the last 15 years strait ) . But for touring have owned burgman 400/650 . Then bought The Piaggio bv400 BEST touring scooter. Smooth as silk could ride over a body and hardly feel it . I tried the yamaha and honda models that use a traditional motorcycle chassis instead of scooter chassis = Neither fish nor foul .Burgman/piaggio traditional Scooter chassis much more plush

What year is yours. I got a 2022 silver burgman . I worry about sun glare I ride near Tucson AZ . Is got plenty of power 1 Rider with Day trip load . I go on interstate . I just put my 1st 600 mls in 50 days. Did the 1st serv with full synthetic oil . They just pass the Lane split in town 45 mls or less at stop lite multiple same Way traffic here in AZ but there's lots of cave man idiots drivers here . I wish they do it like CA in All of USA it makes sense . I use to live in NYC and in traffic jams witch are as bad as L.A . CA . Even in front cops sometimes very carefully and no one gave me problems . But is illegal in NY . I am planning a ride from Malibu CA to San Francisco CA . But I'll trailer from AZ .
