Ngl this is heavilly overestimating hisoka's attack potency and general raw stats. Uvogin, a literal enhancer, himself was casually tanking artillery fire with his palm and a fully powered up uvogin couldn't put kurapika down (which kura healed anyways) Also ngl, using Gon as an example of trickery is kinda counterintuitive since gon is especially naive. Even more so when considering that kurapika essentially mastered nen in only 6 months and has alot of intellegence feats within the latest arc

Also hisoka got washed by Chrollo, he vastly underestimated the Chairman. After seeing the chairman fight, there's no way Hisoka could compete. He was struggling against 100 people trying to grab him. Vs a hundred Budda arms hitting at 0.1s, up to a 1000x per minute? Cmon be real. Hisoka just thinks he can figure out a way to beat anyone, and was taught a lesson vs Chrollo

Emperor Time is NOT a contractual ability nor is it limited to the Troupe. Only Chain Jail is limited. The rest of his powers, including Emperor Time, can be used against anyone.

Emperor Time can be used against anyone. It's been explained on the Whale Boat he added on to the Nen Contract that as long as he's in emperor time he can activate it at will in exchange for expending his life force. Every second in emperor time is 1 hour given up, Chain Jail is meant to be used against the spiders only, forcing them into a state of Zetsu. Dolphin chain can be used against anybody and it slowly depletes the nen from a target, to which if they run out, are also forced into a state of zetsu.

Kurapika would lose pretty easily, he even admitted his own abilities are not very useful for combat. Hxh and the nen power system is not about fighting only. Many characters have great abilities that they CAN fight with, but they are not necessarily the greatest fighters such as Morel (by his own admission). Togashi really has yet to have an arc showcasing great warrior nen users constantly. He has mostly shown unique and versatile abilities like morel, knov, knuckle, bisky etc. I think when certain zodiacs get to showcase what they do, we will see that the main guys are still pretty weak compared to the top fighters in the verse.

Love the video, a fight between Kurapika and Hisoka is cool and based on who can lay the best trap or just get the 1 up on the other. I just think that Kurapika may have a good chance against Hisoka as his strength (unless Hisoka hid it one that list) should be much stronger than Hisoka’s. Allowing for a miss placed bungee gum to be used like a rope and pull Hisoka in before he may release it. Making Hisoka have to think much more before possibly attaching his bungee gum to Kurapika like he did to Gon. I do think Hisoka would win though as he has had more time seen fighting in the Manga and we know how creative he can be. Whereas we only really see Kurapika’s creativity in a fight against Uvogin where he could use ALL of his abilities including chain jail. As well as not really having to try on a creative level.

I also just realized that his will to stay alive also influenced the post mortem like how with Pitou and their will to protect Meruem was so powerful that after death their nen was still active and made Pitou stronger difference is Hisoka was protecting his heart (which now that in writing this I’m pretty sure it wasn’t actually a vow) meaning that post mortem activated but he was prepared for it so he got the power boost and got to stay alive on top of it

@@encelade. I don't mean to be a contrarian, but what happened with Hisoka's vow is not regeneration. His heart wasn't damaged. His heart was forcefully restarted by his Hatsu to bring himself back to life, because if your heart stops pumping, you die. Hisoka died via suffocation and that long without air will cause your brain to lose a healthy oxygen supply and shut down, thus shutting off your heart. His 'regeneration' ability is just an enhanced version of his texture surprise. He can now conjure(?) Whole body parts with his Nen. The interpetation is interesting though.

Split soul Katana(SSK) needs to actually penetrate to be effective. It also has no enhancement to make piercing easier. It also doesnt kill you with a single hit, only prevents soul based healing methods and damages soul based opponents. It would likely be no more effective than a regular blade against uvo. He has no way to heal himself from normal damage(just great defense) so a lethal hit would be lethal with or without SSK. His nen armor would treat it the same as a normal blade either stopping it or not based entirely on the force behind it. We're you thinking of Inverted spear of heaven? This would negate uvos nen reinforcements and allow him to be sliced up like fresh bread.

This is what I hate about anime KZbinrs. Not only do they not know the pronunciation of a characters name even tho it takes like 10 seconds to learn it, they make the most horrid version of the characters name and it's just unbearable to listen to. I tried so fucking hard to look past it but 1:11 in and I can't just fucking do it

Kurapika can match Hisoka's craftiness and he has the mindset to pull through just about anything, even if Hisoka uses his mindgames. It will be all about keeping distance with each other for the nost oart, since each other knows they can just end the fight if one or the other gets ONE good hit in. It would be a war of the long game i think, with either way walking away the winner

Steal chain has to be one of the most overrated abilities in HxH. People act like it's a better version of chain jail despite it having no feats that prove its viability in combat. The only time it's used in combat was against someone much weaker and distracted. Judgement chain on the other hand hasn't even been used on a target that is defending themselves. Both abilities are seemingly designed to pair well with chain jail, but that's not an option against Hisoka, so with the feats he has shown Kurapika has no viable win conditions.
