I love to get a few great people, get a big bucket of CRISPY chicken, some cole slaw, mashed potatoes with gravy on the side (they give you more that way), green beans, biscuits (WITH BUTTER), mac & cheese, and just sit there and just FEAST! Slowly picking at the chicken as you go, there's no rush take your time. Eat slow and you can feast for an hour or two. NOTHING ELSE LIKE IT.

Okay so as a former KFC employee (KFC only building) I ONLY get extra crispy, not because orig' isn't good, but because you have to remove guts from the chicken in the original recipe. The extra crispy is pre prepared marinated chicken with a flour bread. It removes a layer of human error and the chicken is much more tender. More insider information for yall, the tenders are marinated then breaded in original recipe. Only chicken and tenders are made on site, everything else is lazily thrown into a fryer. Fries, popcorn chicken, etc. Biscuits are heated in a steam tray and is why it tastes like a hockey puck. Oh and the gravy contains "cracklings" which are the bits from the bottom of the fryer a night before.

OMG...Sa'ls story about puking on his freshman ski trip brought me back. A VERY similar thing happened to me. i was a freshman and we were on a trip out to Disneyland. The night before, we went to one of the malls in the LA area and I ended up puking my guts out all over the middle walkway of the lower level. So embarrassing - made even more so by the chaperone going on and on about it, getting me cleaned up and back to the hotel, and every other person on the trip (including the seniors) coming by my hotel room to make sure that I was okay. I think I've got some residual PTSD now that I didn't know I had. LOL

I went to a beer festival with a friend a few years ago held at Madonna Inn in California. Somebody Tell Joe or Sal that the KFC spices are sold from a company called Marions Kays spices You need the chicken seasoning 99X. The amount is off but it is exact spice mix and was given to them by the colonel. It was even once labeled original spices but when KFC bought the company they had the rights to the name and Marion Kay spices had to remove the Original recipe description. I have it, it is exact when doubled and 50% more salt than the recipe calls for. BTW it does have MSG in it.
