The way she talks reminds me of my great-aunts who also lived in Vancouver. Jimi used to come up to Vancouver from Seattle in the summer and spend time with his grandma. He even went to elementary school for a while in Vancouver. She's talking about seeing him play at the Pacific Colloseum, which was the big hockey arena in Vancouver and also doubled as a music venue for big acts.

It's sort of complex. This is Jimi's grandmother, whose father was Cherokee/Irish and mother was African-American; Jimi's great-great-grandmother was a full-blooded Cherokee.

According to many biographies, Jimi loved his grandmother and liked talking with her. It's too bad Jimi had no filter when it came to drugs.

Directly or indirectly, he was killed by the business he was in...I'm thinking Michael Jeffrey and whatever mob ties he had, did Jimi in.

There's was a documentary stating that Jimi Hendrix had been murdered. It's a coincidence BOTH Jimi Hendrix and boxer Sonny Liston both died from ALLEGED drug overdoses in the year 1970, when in fact both were murdered

You're absolutely 100 percent right on that one !!!!!!! Everybody keeps saying she's his sister when in reality she's his step sister. The late great Jimi Hendrix' REAL siblings Leon,Joseph, Kathy, and Pamela have never ever been given the proper respect they deserved. Leon is a famous musician and artist in his own right and yet he's limited in what he's able to say or do in regards to his OWN brother's legacy. Leon IS Jimi's real family Janney is NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was dumb giving this sweet lady a front row seat. It was dumb for anybody to be exposed to that kind of volume - she was just smart enough to trust the natural reaction and move away.

This woman is not full blood Cherokee as Jimi often stated. Why don't people stop with the Cherokee lies, it makes people look stupid. She's black and she and he should have been proud of that.
@Allhoney33
@Allhoney33 9 жыл бұрын
Joe Grim The term "injun" is offensive to Native Americans however this woman has always been erroneously claimed as a fullblood and it's obvious she's African American.

Dwayne Wladyka She is not part. She may have some ancestry but she's not part.
@Allhoney33
@Allhoney33 9 жыл бұрын
Dwayne Wladyka Yeah the one quarter is more believable that part. Part means 50%. I hear many people saying they are part Native American and many have no more than 2% if they have it. I wouldn't take too well at people claiming to be part black and trying to speak for black Americans with only a small percentage of black ancestry. That's completely absurd.
@Allhoney33
@Allhoney33 9 жыл бұрын
Dwayne Wladyka Part is usually half and half. Many people say part to inflate the Native American ancestry which is why most all of these people don't look Native American at all, like this woman. I've met and know plenty of part Native Americans.....half and half and they look like it but these people claiming part when it's only some distant ancestry is pretty ridiculous. I think people are in serious denial about their primary racial makeup and how it determines their true phenotype. I often hear people saying they're part Native American but they have blonde hair. It's like they are trying to overstate the Native ancestry and make it believable that Native Americans can have blonde hair yet are in denial that it's the Caucasian ancestry responsible for the blonde hair. Its weird how Native American ancestry is fetisized. You'd never do this with any other race. Nobody would dare inflate black ancestry or any other racial ancestry like that. Johnny Depp was found to have Black ancestry.....have you heard him say anything about it? No!
@Allhoney33
@Allhoney33 9 жыл бұрын
Dwayne Wladyka I was simply stating people inflate the Native ancestry and are in denial about how little their Native ancestry has a bearing on their appearance. Have you not heard the crazy stuff people say??
