The best of the several recordings of "Mexican Cowboy", album and video, that this wonderful duo have made. Nora and Stephanie's clear and sweet harmonies, Eli West's guitar work, very slightly faster pacing and excellent audio quality make for an outstanding performance. World🌎 class. great listening

Totally love this artist, tune, and song. You need to hear both. Remix needed.

This music feels like home, and portraits the pains and hardships along the way, yet it feels like home. Like Family, like a deep connection to nature and the stars. It makes me really want to go home, whereever that is. Thank you for creating and holdibg this space! 💚🤘🙏❤️💜💙

My goodness how lovely...thank you so much for being real. I was taught how to record live music by the great Leonard Gibbs of Charlestown SC. Rather than focus on recording i listen to what i could hear clearly. Absolute beauty.

The singing is serene & banjo playing is serene. The guitar picking is tasteful & not overbearing. & that fiddle! The way you play together is something I don't hear often. You are all playing techincally but giving it room to breath & filling the gaps nicely. Hard to articulate but there's something rare here that's for sure.

What do you want her to do, preface every performance with a statement that she learnt this from Clifton? She recorded it on her album 3 years ago. Regardless her playing style strikes me as alot more delicate on this than Cliftons and the fingerings are presumably standard at this stage and all derivative of Roscoe.
@blainechappell5383
@blainechappell5383 Жыл бұрын
@@badface9955 i think you're making way more out of this than is necessary. Also, Roscoe plays and sings it quite differently if you've ever listened to his recording. But whatever. Who are you going to be offended for next?

@@michaelbaker602 again, I think people are making way more out of this comment than is necessary. My channel is purely for my own posterity, for friends and family who care to keep up, and to help anyone interested in learning a tune i might know. In my descriptions, I do my best to always credit those from whom I learned a particular tune, whether I'm friends with them or not. My comment takes nothing from Nora's obvious talent.

Interesting tune. Too bad the vocal was not strong enough to match or overcome the music. It would have been nice to hear more than a dozen words.

Bad production, aircraft overhead and overwhelming fiddle. Her voice should dominate and it is overshadowed. Such a shame
