It reminds me of the good songs on Orbital (In Sides album). Congratulations on the demo, it's a great track. To think that everything that sounds comes from this little bug, gives food for thought.

@@INHALTVIDEO This was super helpful for me. It's odd how few demos there are of the Mono on YT or IG. And the ones that do exist tend to have 5 other pieces of gear in the mix or are just instructional videos so it was hard to determine what types of sounds it excelled out. Apparently people have really slept on this synth, no idea why. I just ordered one last night and I'm looking forward to pairing it with my Tanzbar 2.

@@t.n.3819 you’re very very welcome. It’s a very underrated synth. I think it has an absolutely amazing sound, especially when you use it for drums and percussion and effects.

@@INHALTVIDEO I'm curious, do you know what kind of audio cable you're using in the video? The one that's yellow with the turquoise tips? I really need to buy some new ones and like the look of those, both from an aesthetic point of view as well as just looking high quality? My current ones are falling apart. Thanks!

i've really got to get an analogue desk... the transients and high end clarity here is lovely.
@XanderEwald Жыл бұрын
Doesn’t the fact that you can still hear the audio quality of the analogue console on your digital device sort of proof that AD/DA conversion does not have a negative effect on the transients and high end clarity?

Excellent track! I slept on this synth, but might have to check it out now.

I've had it pretty much since the beginning and with an LFO per knob, it's still one of the weirdest synths I own. Creating odd fart sounds takes about 10 seconds. Awesome little machine!

@@INHALTVIDEOBrilliant. I didn't know you liked The Hacker. For this track, you found all parts of the song using only the Mono or you had to use an "external help" like a computer or a MIDI keyboard or both?
@INHALTVIDEO2 жыл бұрын
@@VEsound I did balances and cut vocals on a track under his amato moniker (quieres bailar) and he recently remixed a song I produced and mixed for the artist Michael Z (“Constant”). I used the mono sequencer exclusively to do this track. Just good ole fashioned multitrack but everything was sequenced on the mono itself. Really great sequencer and the note buttons feel really good.

Why does this piece of plastic cost so much? Track is great, though.

It’s made really well. The knobs and pots are all precision and custom machined with LED’s and the buttons are what’s used on the Prophet 5/10. It’s exceptionally well made.

Development Cost = Highest Cost
@xfghffhfg3 жыл бұрын
@@liantrosretrospectiva4134 if you want to understand the price you need to go deeper than the case. the norand mono actually have a high quality metal top and top notch build made in france, i will prefer that to any mass produce synths with metal case and shitty internals. but it's mostly unique and advance, this cost much more to develop. don't judge a synth by it's cover... there is a very well known synth that remind this one that is fully made of plastic...
