Id love to see how your gearing changes as a data element in the video. Wonder if Di2/AXS shifts are recorded in your FIT file and you could find a way to display the gear changes.

Another excellent video. I also thank LMNT for sponsoring so many athletes on the channels I love. That said I thought I'd share my (non-sponsored) experience with LMNT for the benefit of those interested: I bought LMNT for summer riding, thinking it would be good to put in the "water-only bottle" for my long rides since I am a salty sweater. I have since re-thought this. 1. I, like most people, need carbs AND salt on my endurance and training rides and after diluting LMNT mix per instructions I found my existing sport mix to be nearly as salty in a 750ml bottle mix 50% LMNT serving vs 1.5 scoop sport mix: (eg Skratch) - Na - 500/570mg - Mg 30/59mg - K 100mg/38mg 2. Not emphasized in the marketing, LMNT is sweetened with Stevia. This may or many not be an issue for most. My gut cannot tolerate it in any amount. My bad missing this and buying a box before learning more. Imho the marketing could make this more clear, especially since they repeatedly tout everything is "right on the front of the label". Not true. 3. So I'm back to my sport mix and a plain water bottle. My gut can't take more salt or carb than that. I need plain water to clean my glasses too! So to be clear I'm not totally against LMNT. It can be a good product for some. ie If you are short on K and don't eat foods like bananas it could help with cramping, etc. And it could be the perfect thing for those looking to lose or control weight. I am in neither of those camps so I am giving my LMNT away at my group rides. So far lots of people say they like it. Some don't. Definitely get the freebie before purchase to see if you like it too!

Stevia. Yuk.

I’ve been riding with lmnt and I really love it. For me the stevia is a non issue and the salt is perfect for me. My only complaint is the lack of carbs. I have an endurance event coming up so my plan is to but some maltodextrin (off Amazon cheap) and mix it in and see how the gut reacts.

Just a thought... maybe you could overlay your HR zones with the bar. Would be another cool way to see how hard you're pushing.

He has some crazy low numbers for such kind of over threshold efforts. If I'm doing the pull above my threshold at the end I see myself hitting 188-190 bpm. Any z3-z4 working to hold the wheel during somebody else hard pull kind of effort usually lands me in the 170-180 bpm range.

The road is open to traffic the whole time. It's a quiet road and generally there is no or little traffic. When they get an interruption due to traffic it's race called.

Hey Jeff I wanted to ask that you think about the utter domination of Stefan Bisegger on the Legion guys. I was there live since I live in Zurich and I saw how he completely dismantled them. Your thoughts? Bad day? Criterium Riders have no chance versus Elite Riders? Or is it just Stefan? 😁Greetings

we record 25 staged alviso races in one day and i release them slowly throughout the year... 😅 all jokes aside, it's been there pretty much every week for years, it's been gone a few times, and moved a few times, but it's a staple of the ride for sure. Waiting for walter to step out in an apron one of these days.

Do the LMNT packets have artificial/ zero calorie sweeteners? I don’t want that. They F with my GI tract hard. Really, I want a hydration/ electrolyte blend that’s really just electrolytes, none of that other BS. (At work they got something for us ‘sweetened’ with allulose, which they can’t use in europe and Canada because it’s a recognized carcinogen, but I don’t need cramps and diarrhea when I’m out on my bike, KnWIS?)
