Domi is kind of the new Hiromi, expect with a more hip-hop sensibility. Both have monster chops and make me respect nords synth sounds for use in live performances.

Domi and Hiromi are very different. Domi seems to go for a newer contemporary style while Hiromi takes lots of inspiration from classical music and famous jazz artists like Oscar Peterson and Gershwin. In her trio you can hear influences from rock bands that she likes. Over all they both have unique styles and awesome technique but come from two different ideas.

Maybe I've been living under a rock somewhere but I have to admit that I've never heard of either of them before ?? I did a quick Google search there and see that she's only 16 years of age, well if shes only 16 and can play like this then I'm sure we are going to hear a whole lot more from her in the future, I loved that deep bass sound from the new Nord Wave 2 while her right hand was on steriods gone wrong with her fast and furious style of playing, I really Loved it though :-) Come on the new Nord Wave 2 and come on Domi & JD Beck.....Give us some more :-) Glen :-)
