I love it when he conducts in LA… because I’m closest to Disney hall, of course 😉. Salonen makes the music pop, with faster than usual tempos, yet well controlled… he always knows how to make fast music dance and slower music emotionally rewarding. Bravo to your choice of music, Maestro! And thank you Philharmonia for the program tease and KZbin snippet!
